The Official Video for Angry Girl. Live and acoustic filmed at CRC Recording Studios with a unique "Unplugged" feel. Syleena Johnson launched her 5th album Chapter V: Underrated on Sept.27th & this special performance was filmed that evening live with an acoustic band broadcast around the world. This is the second single off her album. It's called "Angry Girl" and it's featuring Tweet, the Southern Hummingbird. The host for the evening was comedian, Damon Williams.
The music industry is a joke. There is no way these two ladies are so soulful, talented, gifted and underrated. Give me true artists all day, every day. Keep your auto tune singers.

Truly talented women. You know a person is talented if they sound as good on their album and/or better live. This is one of my favorites off the album.
I love Syleena. It seems that she can be packaged so many different ways. This is so folksy, rather than bluesy or soul actually It is totally unique and goes to show you that all of those so-called "singers" with pyrotechnics, lights, and all the trappings to distract you are nothing in light of this type of performance. I would gladly pay to see Syleena perform. I knew of her father when I was a kid. He performed a lot here in Chicago. Peace.

Syleena is highly versatile. This is almost folksy and yet she does the RB and Soul just as awesomely. She is my new favorite singer. yes I'm behind the times but when I was a teenager Syleena's father Syl Johnson was raising Cain in Chicago at all the venues. They loved him here! But Syleena is just about the best singer around. I like Tweet with her and Monifah does a great part as well. Good song! :)

I can't stop playing this song. It's amazing, and I love both Syleena and Tweet. The background singers were killing, but is it just me or was the tenor singing an octave below the soprano in the first verse and not forming the 3-part chord like he did in the second verse and beyond? I love this recording though.
@Erycacane it would be you...I'll speak for the background singers when I says eyes closed or not we ended the song just as rehearsed. I'll also so this yes we sing background for this vocal beast as well as working our projects. So I'm Smh that instead of paying attention to the vid and Syleena you was drawn to the "background" singers singing. Haha
