This tune has such a beautiful build-up, jolly and moody start which slowly progresses and then at the peak, where it might get bit too repetetive and a bit annoying, everything cancels out. Except this sweet melody which slowly progresses to this relaxing, tranquilizing brass piece.
Honestly, I think I was too young to appreciate this kind of music back then, seeing as I was only 10 years old. Any who, I do believe that Dial M for Monkey and Animal Magic are great albums, however, if I am not mistaken, this song came from the album Days to Come Whatever, I just realized I'm rambling on in response to a comment from over a year ago. I guess my point would be that Bonobo is awesome all around and I hope they continue to be discovered by those who appreciate musical genius.
Just getting into bonobo, what are some other good songs by them? I love this one and animals. Usually listen to really hard death metal but it's good to have the opposite side of the spectrum as well
Welcome to Bonobo fandom! I started listening in 2006, and haven't stopped. I'm still finding gems. Some tracks to check out: Super 8, Ghost Ship, Kong, We Could Forever, All in Forms, Nightlite (feat. Bajka), Ketto, and Pilote - Turtle (Bonobo Mix). Just start with the albums "Black Sands" and "Days to Come" and you'll be golden for a while until you're ready to explore more.
Bonobo's best album is Black Sands. Days to Come is fantastic as well. I am amazed sometimes that one person can make music this good. He is a genius!

All of them :)
This entire album is really good. I like Dial M For Monkey as well. He was really on a hot streak during that period.
