Skip is a $70 million dollar man in his 70's. He has nothing else to prove, so my advice to him is to 'Hand over the reigns and enjoy his life'. He deserves it. There's no doubt, he'd be a great 'throwback guest' (and founder) to 'First Take' to make a special appearance, sit at that table (in the middle), and inject that 'Skip Bayless' persona on the commentary of sports as he's living his best life. However, (I think) sports commentary 'is his life', and nothing more he would rather do.

I think you guys should look at SAS's and Shannon's first year debating Skip vs the last years. It's like night&day. He really elevated them and brought out the best out of them and made them bonafide superstar TV personalities. That said, I think it's time to hang it up for Skip. The real reason Shannon was angry by the way, wasn't because Skip called Brady a better player (that happened frequently before). It's that this time he failed to acknowledge Shannon and apologize to his friend.
