The biggest advice you'll ever hear for this game: This is a controller game, it is not meant for mouse and keyboard, you can play it with them, but you will be highly limited, and honestly just a bit uncomfortable with the button layout.
also another thing i wanna point out is that from all the souls games, bloodborne is the main one where it seems like it gets way more fun playing with other people in co-op

Bloodborne, more than the other Fromsoft games that are plenty mysterious already, is all about finding the dark secrets of its world. As such, it is very careful what it reveals in the trailers to leave the massive surprises awaiting till one actually plays the game. Same with the game intro, which is almost none existant, unlike Dark Souls and Elden Ring whose intros offer quite a bit even if they leave even more questions.

Awesome to see you react so fast. Something interesting to know: the director of from software, Hidetaka Miyazaki, worked with a team on demon Souls and Dark Souls 1. Then while he let his team work on Dark Souls 2, he himself started working on Another project which he personally really wanted to make. That's what became bloodborne. As far as I know he Said it Will always keep a special place in his Heart. And I feel like somehow that is why bloodborne did so well for from soft fans. It might be a bit more of a niche game un like Elden ring, but it is Hidetaka Miyazaki at his Finest. So even though other fromsoft games are still amazing, bloodborne just has Something special. I know bloodborne is a bit less approachable since it's older, a ps4 exclusive, and a bit hard to get into. So id recommend just starting with Elden ring. But Once You've completed that and you enjoyed it, maybe played Dark Souls as well. Someday definitely play bloodborne, it won't let you down.
Oh and One more Thing, if you want to see a bit more, there is also a Two minute trailer for the dlc, the old Hunters. Arguably the best (and hardest) dlc fromsoft has made to date. (Al though the ringed City from ds3 is also a contender)( and Elden Rings Shadow of the erdtree is still on it's way)
Bloodborne as a universe/environment is one of my all time favorites ever. Dark souls did multiplayer features really well and Elden Ring (most recent) has a mix. We are hoping for more factions and invasions/coop things in this DLC June 21!!! But honestly you can’t go wrong with any fromsoft souls game besides Dark souls 2 jk
Also Demons Souls (which is the first souls game for ps3 and the OG game got remade for ps5 2 years ago and I still play that as much if not more than Elden Ring while I wait for dlc 🤪

Who Entered Bloodborne, And somehow, Got Involved in the Party, that was Happening For some time, and NOW Started Again. And you Wake up as a Hunter. Basically, you Chase Different Beasts. And sometimes and Other Hungers, Cause They want to attack you. And Eldrich Creatures Watch you Hidden. And You Must Fight to Survive, the Night of the Hunt. And Unlike the other Games, this one, the Shield, was Removed. It can be Seen as Different thing, BUT You have Different Weapon. First your Right arm, has the Trick Weapon (Basically, Mostly Melee Weapon). And a Gun in your Left hand. The Trick Weapon, can be Used for Short and Long Range. Depending on HOW you Fight with It. Also Sometimes the Long Range Version can be used for Bigger DAMAGE. The Gun with Silver Bullets that you Collect and Farm, Can Do Some Damage (Even Little). BUT! But! It's Main Trick is the Parry Part. Shoot when the Enemy Attacks, and Then It's Stun for Execution Move. Basically, you can Do Visseral Attack. Shoot and Stab. And the The Hunter BOSSES, and the Hunter RARE Enemies... They Have Reason to be Hard. First Skilled Opponents. Second, They Know Each Other's Mother Milk and Molar Teeth. Also Basically They know, Every Trick, and know How to Deal with them. Bloodborne: You Have Blood Infection, Blood Cure, and Blood Addiction. Also You Farm and Collect Blood and Silver Bullets. The Hidden Creatures that are also Mind Controlling the Stuff are Greate ones. I know, Lovecraft. And The Villagers Went Hunding with the Hunters, and in the Process, therough the time... Became Slowly Beasts (The Creatures they Hung). And Went Insane. And Started to See Beasts Everywhere, Including Between them. I know. The Hunters, who are Experts, Went Outside to Hunt Beasts, and The Villagers, Who Only Hide and Have NO Experience, When OUT to Fight with them. And Payed the Price. And The Hunters are NOT Saved Too. Even as they are Experts and Professionals... They Too can Fall. And Different Schools Created. Like to give some Knoledge, and to Deal with the Different ways of Blood Stuff. Like to Use It, or NOT To Use IT. How to Use It Too. ETC. Also About the Great ones... They Used the Blood of Hidden Grate one, to Fix a Proble, BUT Made another Problem. Like To Fix one Poison with another, and the Fixing Poison Becoming the NEW Poison, They have to Deal with. And in the Process Became Addicted. At Least from what I Understood. The Great ones themselfes... They are Basically Aliens Came on Earth. And Can't Have Babies, and Search for host, to Help them. Also Some Great ones Left their Bodies, and Went into Some Dream Realm, and are Hidden in Secret. Even there. and They Try to have Babies with Humans. And Their Babies Can't Last. And They Don't Agro Humans But are Like Cult God for some Humans, and are Hostal against humans IF they Worship Other Grate ones. Again, from What I Understood (Or thought that I Inderstood). Hunter BOSSES, Beast BOSSES, Geat ones BOSSES. Gothic Victirian Area Vibes. London, CZech Republic, Romania ETC. And some Hunters Become Beasts (They Hunt Beasts, and they Become Beasts). Some are Humans Turning into Beasts at some Point, Others are Already Beasts, and you have to Kill them. Cause They Have Nothing Left From their Past Life as Human with Humanity, and Memories of Family or Friends. And Some Beasts, that Have The Human in them Still, But Sleeping, and Need Little Help, for the Human to wake up. OK! As Beginning you have 3 Weapons. A Saw, a Cane, and an Axe. You Choose one of them, as Starting Melee Trick Weapon. The Othes you May Find them while on the Way, at some Point. The Second Weapon is yout Firearm. Ether a shotgun, or a Pistol. You Pick which you Like. And you START The Game. I Mean after that you start the REAL GAME. Learn the Mechanics, Leern Tricks And other things. Some Say, you have to be Aggressive and First. BUT NOT GREEDY. When you Attack. And Know what to Do. And IF you want to be Fine with Visseral, Learn now to DO It. And Learn When you can, When you Can't and How to Do It.

NPC), Selsetial Emesary (Experimental BOSS) Living Failers (Experimental BOSS) Except Mensis The Others are BOSSES. Also you have Mergo (Baby NOT BOSS), and Mergo's Wet Nurse. Another Great one. Also you May Encounter some Hunters. Some NPC, Some Wanting to Kill you. And They are Tough Opponents. In Central Yharnam, you can Talk with Red Lanterns. Means Red Lanterns are People Inside a Building, That you can Talk with. Also I Didn't Shared Everything. There's More. You Have Something Obvious, In front your eyes, And Something Hidden, That's Left for you to Find. IF ya want. Bloodborne is the best souls game, everything is amazing in this game: the atmosphere, weapons, enemies, combat... But I recommend playing first Elden ring, because it is the easiest

I prefer Dark Souls, Elden Ring, and Sekiro but it’s definitely one of the greatest out there.

Bloodborne is very good! If you play it though, you have to play The Old Hunters DLC to it.
