I love this. It’s just so hard to learn it like this. On the phone’s small screen I mean. I wish it was a bit easier to see
I have a Chromecast and I'm able to cast CZcams on it (you can pick one up for around $30 and it will last for many years). Works a lot better than a tiny screen, especially for someone like me with shitty eye sight.

When I play it, it sounds so much more different. I can’t do thumb slaps yet but it still sounds so different
it’s all practice, well good practice anyway (if you practice it wrong, it won’t sound right).
The thumb slaps really help seal the whole thing together. I can’t really tell if he’s strumming and slapping (which is pretty dang hard to do accurately) John Mayer style but after messing around with it for a bit I found it still sounds good if you only slap, and not strum/pick and the same time.
But it sounds better if your slap/strum, but only if you play it accurately. So far I’ve just been learning it without the slap/strum technique, only slap.
