How to Make Natural Plant Dye From Aloe Vera Leaves

Leaves of aloe vera can be used to make plant dye and naturally infuse color into textiles. The key component of the plant that makes this possible is aloin or aloe latex, which is the yellow substance that comes from the leaves.
In this video, 5 methods of making plant dye from aloe vera are shown. The presence of aloin in the leaves makes all the difference, and you will see that leaves lacking in the yellow substance produce dye that is barely visible on textile.
