- Shaun Whale's insane 4WD build up - the Dirty 30 - runs for the first time! Shaun with the help of a few mates at Mr LandCruiser put in a few hard day's on the tools to get the 1HD-FTE engine in the 60 Series turned over. Just wait till you hear that turbo whistle!

yeah same i was into all these old school JDM cars and even had an s13, but im getting into 4wds now especially landcruisers

In the same boat my dude - Coming from Skylines and other JDMs, I’m getting a 4WD bug haha. Have had a lifted 4 runner before and can say it’s another whole new world and community to explore

i owned and drove Toyota/s for over 40 years fj 40 and 45/s and modified with v8 chev before kits were available im 71 years old now and no longer have 4 wd/s but still love watching your videos luv your dirty 30
Built... NOT bought! Absolutely love it Shauno! Never understood why manufacturers didnt do this same thing... use the best things off the old stuff.. kind of like if aint broke dont fix it.. hope the ole 30 turns out to be everything u dreamed it could be

My first car im 16 yeat old with the old mans 75 series as hes bought a beast of a 79 series its pretty much in pieces but its comin together as a father son build and absolutely loving it keep up the good work boys love seeing it come together also lovin the snatch clothing just wish i could actually get my hands on some and definitely getting snatch stickers for the 75 series 👍🏻

Man I love this build so much.
I'm a Toyota nut myself. I know how long builds can take took me about 5 years to put a quad cam 1uz Lexus V8 into my Toyota Cressida.
Wiring and the link ecu install took a year.
Converting it to manual took a while since both the Lexus and the Cressida never came manual.
But I know the smile you had of the first turn. And unless you've been through the tuff times of almost giving up. People telling you it's not worth. Company's stuffing you around. And then finally hearing it for the first time.... I know that smile mate. Perseverance pays off. And it something money never buys.
Congratulations on the build might have to build a tuff truck for my next project.

I've got a Pajero iO and I'm slowly building it up on a students budget. Still has a lot of work to put into it, but it's already come a long way! Love this lifestyle, love this show and farout, I love 4wds!!
Can't get over your youthful enthusiasm, built and started a few motors myself and you demonstrated that elation perfectly, great work Shaun and crew. You make a great ambassador for Toyota Shaun and like you, love the name Landcruiser. My "cruiser" is an 80 series which has covered the 4 points of the compass and NEVER let me down. Have fun mate we will be watching you closely DON'T get bogged.

I love that Dirty 30!! I have a 88 Toyota truck. Nothing special but it works and I have been making everything for it myself. Its important to me to teach my kids how to do things themselves and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. They are loving it so far but I have a long way to go to finish my canopy and rooftop tent.

Nice to see the Dirty 30 back up and running in such short time. I've just finished a 7 year rebuild of a 2005 79 series with the FTE motor. The 79 was a write-off so we built a special using the 79 chassis, motor and box. Added 80 series axles with lockers and grafted a 1947 Dodge Power Wagon cab, bonnet and guards on to the 79 series floor pan. It looks like a 47 but goes like an 05. Very easy to find in the car park. Cheers.

Hearing it fire up I'm cheering and punching the air as if England won the World Cup HAHA and put the biggest smile on my face. I miss my HJ60 a lot and unless I win the lottery cant see me getting another *lol* but living it through these videos is awesome, that look on your face when it fires up was priceless.....Best video Ive seen all year.

I’m still working on my 1st 4x4 Jeep XJ “Franky” that I bought 15 years ago. I bought it bone stock had it for a year sold it to my brother and bought it again back from my brother. It’s part of the family.

I drive a 2001 Land Rover discovery with 2 in lift and on 33 mud terains love the overland trips wish I had the budget to do then myself keep doing what y’all do love it

Being in the uk , we don’t get these variations of Land Cruiser over here, ours are more luxury kinda like a LR Discovery.
However, I love the buzz & enthusiasm you guys have and am VERY jealous of the scenery you get to drive through & the freedom to roam

She's a good looking rig! And that sound! I don't have a 4B but I do have a Lx80 mark2. Was factory turbo diesel with the 2LT. My pop imported her back in 99. Toured around aus with a caravan and all. By the time I got her and pulled that motor out. She had done almost 1.2 MILLION! kms. Yep that's bloody right. The tacho clicked over 999,999. She now has a 2jzge with plans for a supercharger. At the moment she's actually had all body rust removed and getting show grade paint work put on!
I've had a bunch of LandCruiser's but when I got my late 2006 Sahara 1hdfte I knew it would be a keeper, hands down the best car I have ever had..

That thing is absolutely awesome and those 40 emblems are the top of the heap bud so cool, my rigs just a 92 zook with 83 Toyota front axle 90 rear axle 91 4runner rear driveshaft cut down to fit 82 rear springs up front and calmini lift springs in back rolling on 35 bfg mud terrains. Keep up the good work guys awesome watching
