Various Easy Z DRAG RIG SYSTEM - 3 to 1 Pulley Systems Essential Rigging Skills for Rock Climbing

In this video I cover a number of different set ups to gain mechanical advantage with simple 3 to 1 systems. These are the types of systems that I would typically use for Kayak extraction, rock climbing gear haul systems, when top rope belaying and in need of a mechanical advantage.
The video is set up to progress from a simple primitive system using only a few pieces of inexpensive gear but also the least efficient in terms of mechanical advantage to the more expensive and efficient.
Through the video I use a number of pieces of gear including: Carabiners, static rope, Jumar (hand jammer), Petzl pulley, ID (industrial descender), Black Diamond Guide Belay, various nylon slings, Basic rope grab, and prusiks.
The final set up using a Climbing Technology, Roll n Lock, a few carabiners, a Basic (tractor) and Pulley is by far my go gear whenever setting up a 3:1 system.
