    Hi, I’m Dan
Basically I’m just this crazy guy from Lethbridge, Alberta , that has this crazy expensive hobby. Being retired I had to come up with a way to pay for this insanity without touching my retirement cash.
So what’s the solution? Of course it’s making extra dollars hauling junk, removing scrap, and breaking crap apart separating the metals to get the most bucks possible and keeping these valuable resources out of the landfill.
So I really hope you subscribe and join along as I follow my adventure on checking dumpsters and alley for some free junk, as well as going to auctions and buying some stuff to resell and scrap
We will also be going to car shows and swap meets! Why because I really like doing that and ya I’ll bore you with hot rods and cruises even the occasional drag race

What the heck? I had a bunch of smart Alec comments that didn't go through. I could see them partly sent when I got on the computer but couldn't resend, copy, nothing. I was just commenting about the awesome flat screws, the lovely, slidey plates, and the very sexy pile of copper. Also, the Bertha saw dust trick.

Flat screws are my Favorite but these were disappointing they came out way to easy, it’s better when you struggle

I had a transformer come apart just like that, I assumed it was because it was so old the glue broke down. But idk.

Too bad the boiling method didn’t work, but thinking outside the box is awesome.

A very informative video with lot of details. You have earned a subscriber for life. Can you scrap one piece of traction motor that comes out of locomotive or oilfield? Usually weighs between 5,500 lbs - 7,600 lbs. Has a good copper recovery and easy to break it down.
