Hi gang! So your CZcams motivated me to come to the Festival of Art this year! It's the only EPCOT festival that I have never been to yet so it's my first time! I retired as a ski resort exec this year. I come to the XMAS celebration and Flower and Garden Festival so previously making time for this festival was not practical. But it was this video showing what this festival is that made me look at flights and hotel rooms and found that a last minute trip was possible. I am a passholder which also makes this possible. Anyway love your videos and please keep them coming. I did say hello when I was there with possibly too much energy buit I was so excited to actually see you and Freya in person in the Fish House. Great people! I am back home n Vermont wiht snow on the ground. My scheduled trip for Flaower and Garden show starts March 17 so can;t wait !

Hello Charlie! I found your channel last night and I've been watching all your videos it's bringing back so many memories for me! I worked at DRC from 2003 to 2005! That's the Disney Reservations Center. I was an Itinerary Planner, and it was the absolute best job I ever had. I'm from New Jersey, and I moved to Orlando with my ex. We were both in the hotel business we met while working for the Marriott Reservations Center here in NJ. Anyway he accepted a position in Orlando as a Cluster revenue manager for Choice hotels, so he moved down and I followed. I immediately applied for WDW, but I was hired the day after I got to Orlando at the Holiday Inn at Universal. I worked front desk there while continuously trying to get into WDW and they eventually offered me DRC. It was INCREDIBLE. We were in a giant office building behind International Drive, we were actually nearer to Universal. My job was, once a guest made their hotel and package reservations they called me and I would book all of their dining, (I booked Rose & Crown!) I sold them any additional tickets, and I also booked anything recreational such as backstage tours, and golf, the events for kids like the Pirate cruise (it was like a scavenger hunt throughout the resorts, a few cast members took out about a dozen kids on a boat they got to be pirates); and the Princess Tea Party with Princess Aurora at Grand Floridian; and the Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique where the little girls get hair and makeup done as their favorite Princesses... etc etc. I booked everything BUT the hotels, basically. It was, I think, one of the best positions at WDW. We got to be in a beautiful office building but of course we spent all our spare time in the parks! I signed up for extra hours and worked parade crowd control at Magic Kingdom (got to wear the Main Street USA, Tomorrowland, and Fantasy Land costumes) and I also did the Star Wars parade at the Studios, (I carried the rope behind R2D2 lol)... I've just been flooded with so many memories watching you all going through training, Traditions, Disney University, Costuming, just... I've actually teared up when you guys went to Fantasmic because I miss Disney SO much!!!!! Keep up trying all the FOOD... my favorite restaurants were Les Chefs de France and Le Cellier at Epcot, and you gotta do SciFi Dine In and Primetime Cafe at the Studios too! Trust me... i ate at almost all of them, lol it was sort of a job requirement. I'm so happy for you guys, I truly am I wish I could go back. It was very unfortunate but I had to leave Florida because that relationship I was in broke up in a VERY bad way and I needed to come home to New Jersey and my family. I had to go to court and file charges and obtain restraining orders against him and all... but I did leave WDW under good terms I could go back someday, I just don't think I'll ever move back. Gosh this post got away from me I'm so sorry I just went on and on! I just REALLY wanted to say, I'm loving watching you guys and how happy and excited you are about everything. It's crazy to see how much things have grown and changed there. To give you an idea, I rode Expedition Everest on its cast previews. If they open anything new while you're there, make sure you get to the cast preview! It's amazing to be among the first people to ever ride a Disney ride! Possibly the Tiana thing at Magic Kingdom? They'll give you some kind of souvenir. We got those sunshades for a car that had the Expedition Everest logo! Another thing they offered, we were able to go into Magic Kingdom at like 5:30am and WALK through the Haunted Mansion!!! That was incredible, it was just something they offered to cast members. So keep your eye out for cool things like that! Okay I'll go away now. Lol! Hello to everyone- Freya: I saw that Buffy shirt you wore to the mall!!! Best show ever. Girl, you SLAY all day! Radiator Springs Racers in California Adventure is Disneyland’s version of test track. I’d say it is more exhilarating in that while it actually goes slower it banks a lot more steeply so it feels that you’re going faster. Plus, it takes you trough Radiator Springs which is pretty cool in and of itself.
Another fun vlog, you guys need to do the Talk with crush show next time you’re there, it’s so funny. I’ll be over from the UK for Flower and Garden in April and can’t wait for all the food!

you can show up late for that ride and they will always let you on it. its not the same for all rides though.
