Renault Kwid is an entry-level crossover produced by the French car manufacturer Renault, initially intended for the Indian market but later launched in other countries like Indonesia, Brazil as well. The production version was unveiled in May 2015. A concept version was previously unveiled in February 2014. A revised Brazilian version was put into production in 2017.The Kwid has been elaborated by a French engineers team settled in India by Gérard Detourbet. The Kwid is the first car to be based on the new CMF-A platform jointly developed by Renault and Nissan.
Renault Kwid received a face-lift in July 2018. It gets new features such as restrain seat-belts, two additional USB sockets, a rear armrest, and a new grille and two new color schemes.
It comes with 2 petrol engine options
0.8L SCe 3 Cylinder Petrol Engine produces 53 Bhp @ 5678 Rpm with 72 Nm @ 4386 Rpm of torque with mileage of 25.17 kmpl and it comes in 5-speed manual transmission only.
1.0 SCe 3 Cylinder Petrol Engine produces 67 Bhp @ 5500 Rpm with 91Nm @ 4250 Rpm of torque with mileage of 23.01 kmpl and it comes in AMT & 5-speed manual transmission.
It comes in total 8 versions however AMT comes in RXT(O) & CLIMBER variants only.
Colour Options : Ice Cool White, Moonlight Silver, Fiery Red, Outback Bronze, Planet Grey, Electric Blue.
