Just wanted to say, THANK YOU SO MUCH for putting these videos out there!! They are so helpful to me! I am new to using this curriculum and I appreciate how you explain it all!☺️ And I do wish they used a more wide variety of stories, too!
Just FYI the readings CD is also available streaming and is available anywhere you have internet access. This might be helpful for those of us, like me, who tend to misplace CDs. 😄
I want to thank you for this review. My 4th grader is smart but a very reluctant writer. We have tried a couple programs now and nothing really got him writing. After watching this review I bought this and we are only in lesson 3 but he hasn't complained about this program yet and already he is writing more than he has written all year. Thank you so much for this review
I did a livestream on that a couple of years ago. But I talked about a lot of things in that video so those names won't be in the title. Might be time to do a standalone video on that!
Thank you for sharing. I have the books too, and we have just started., I read in one of them, to alternate with one week R & W and the next week grammar, and back and forth like that? Do you do that? Do you rink it’s too much to do both in one week, the grammar and R & W though?
@@HomeschoolKnockouts thank you for the reply. I tried that too and found that didn’t work for us either, a week’s gap in between an intense grammar program was too long for my son. We use Rod & Staff English. It was also too long without W & R. At the moment we are trying 3 days Rod & Staff English, and 3 days a week W & R. We school 6 days a week, though only very light on Saturday. Still not sure if that’s the best way to do it. Which grammar program did you use with R & W ? X
I need a good writing program for my upcoming third grader. I love your in debt videos. ❤ #HTownRepresent I'm trying to decide if I should go with writing rhetoric or essentials in writing suggested by Erika at My Busy Bees. We have been using lightning literature and composition. We really need to add more for third grade.
I started my 3rd grader on Writing and Rhetoric book 1. Love it! See my video review on it AND my video for how I use it. It’s in my curriculum playlist.

Awesome review! I just purchased it for my 4th grader
Hope you enjoy it! Let me know if you have any questions.

Good to know! I would prefer streaming myself. ☺️
Hi. Can you tell me where to stream it from? I can't find it. Thank you.
I think it’s on their website. Classical academic press.

MAJOR WIN, MAMA! Glad the review was helpful!
Thank you so much for sharing, this was really insightful!
You’re welcome Gigil!
This was great thank you! I have the teacher guide for this book but held off on doing it since book two didn’t go over well.
Happy to help, Diana! Hopefully you can take another go round with the next book.
Hi. I would love to know how you taught the outline. I can't seem to find the video you made on that. Thank you
I think I made the video private due to audio issues.I might record a new one this month or next.
I would love to know how ypu combine both W&R and MCT language arts programs! These are very helpful, thank you!

@@HomeschoolKnockoutsyes please do. I'm considering doing W&R 3 and 5 with MCT Town level this year.

I didn't do that. That rec was too much back and forth. I just did a page a day of grammar, 4 days a week. HTH
