@ScoutCrafter challenged us to make our own screwdriver and or scraper. I made both. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching. #scoutcrafter #screwdriver #tools #handmadetools
I’m pretty sure that I had a few screwdrivers like yours back in the ‘60’s. You could do anything to them except break them. Great job mate.love the screwdriver and the scraper. I sympathise with your comment about your shop stinks after working the deer antler. Antlers have that distinct smell when cut or sanded; and it’s not a pleasant smell. Take care buddy. Hope it’s warming up for you guys out there.
Thanks Brother. Yes it's warming up about every other day. Not only does it stink but it also lingers...shop smelled for 2 days. Take care and say Howdy to the Missus!
I am PRETTY SURE this will qualify you as an official 'GOOD FRIEND OF THE SHOW'..... CONGRATES! And your complimentary gift back full of stuff will be shipped to casa de GEORGE in a day or two!!!! SERIOUSLY DUDEZILLA that screw driver has OLD SCHOOL written all over it!!!
Wow George, cool and innovative. I liked how the scraper is perfect for the palm fit. The screwdriver fitment is impressive! I also loved how you bent it around on itself for the handle, well done!
Hey !George très bon travail, le grattoir est vraiment superbe en corne de cerf,et le tournevis n'est pas mal non plus en métal retourné. Si tu es content Scoutcrafter doit l'être aussi.
Neat stuff! I really like the scraper cuz I like dee handled items. The screwdriver is also pretty neat in it's simplicity. Mine is almost ready to assemble. See you Sunday and have a great weekend!
Thanks Captain Ivan! I should really do the rest of the bench too with that tiny scraper. LOL.. I like the bent steel and now I can work on a project I've been putting off! Take care buddy!
Great job George, Thinking out side the box. Neither of those would have crossed my mind. Very functional and seriously good job. I bet the smell sucked.
04/19. Inspiration to participate in ScoutCrafter's challenge. Hmmm. No talent, no desire to take photos, better stick to watching you pros. Terrific video. Thank you.
The scraper looks like it will really get some work in with a robust handle and short shank! I cant tell you how many times Ive burned my hands on hot metal 😂
I actually came up with that scraper for removing gaskets. I needed something for that craftsman mower. I should buy stock in burn gel. You can get a gross on Amazon for $20.
Great ideas and a great video Thanks again for sharing your time and skill Thanks George 🍺🍺👍👍
Thank You Brian! I appreciate you brother!

So I guess you will be drinking some INSTANT COFFEE AKA SWILL in your workshop. You poor B@STARD!!
Nice job, man! Cool design on your screwdriver. Just an FYI, but when you heat up metal with a torch, it tends to get hot so don't touch it! Ha!
Thanks for the HOT Tip.🔥😅. That burned the crap outta me.
Nice job on both projects. This is why you need to keep going to flea markets and swap meets-- to find cool tools so you can make more cool tools.
Thanks Pat! It's the restoration circle of life!
Excellent job on both projects George. The slot fit on your screwdriver was super impressive! 😃👍
Thank You John that means a lot..I look forward to meeting you at Jack Town.
Two challenges for the price of one both are good job on them
Thanks Larry! It's like the old double feature but for tools...

Thanks Brett, I truly appreciate it! It's not fancy but it will work for the job I need it to.
You were certainly creative today,. Both items are unique and well done. Your screwdriver is a clever design and very usable. Great work.
Thanks Mr. John! I appreciate that!
Nice job on both George. Don't you just love the mild aroma when sanding deer antler? 😄
Thank You Mr. Bill! Nothing mild about that aroma!
They look great Super George. I scraped my bench too when i made my scrapers😂 i like the bent steel handle on the screwdriver 👍
Thanks Captain Ivan! I should really do the rest of the bench too with that tiny scraper. LOL.. I like the bent steel and now I can work on a project I've been putting off! Take care buddy!

Thank you Rob. I really wanted to use that little piece of antler I had laying around. waste not want not.
It's always nice to have a custom screwdriver for a perfect fit, horn smells BAD!
🛠👍😁
Yes it does and it lingers...
Both turned out awesome! That scraper looks super comfortable to hold.
Thanks Man! It is pretty comfortable to use. You should make something. that would be Awesome!
Love them George good work!!
Thank You!
Great job.
Thank You!
Very cool. That is such a good design for jobs where dirt and oil would ruin a conventional screwdriver handle. Cheers
Thank You! I wish I would have made one sooner. I got a lot of screwdrivers but none that would fit those screws...
almost branded yourself 😂😅😂 cool video 🛠👍⛏️🇨🇦
Thanks Dan O! That shit hurt!😅🩹
Radioactive New Jersey deer antler scraper, YEAH Buddy
That way in case I need to use it in the dark..I can still find it.
Great job George, Thinking out side the box. Neither of those would have crossed my mind. Very functional and seriously good job. I bet the smell sucked.
