I have a 91 LSC. Same color Bought it in 94. I still have the car. Take it to local car shows. It’s the only one there. Gets a lot of looks. I still have the air suspension. Never had any issues.
Awesome!
Congratulations on your accomplishments and the purchase of this mint Mark VII LSC. Appreciate Ford's attention to model year improvements. It was remarkable that Lincoln added a more powerful engine to the Mark VII and added as you described, turbine wheels.Given how well these cars withstand aging on the outside, frequently the same canoot be said for interirors. When you enter the interior, it becomes more apparent how little use its received upon seeing how its beautifully maintained .
Thank you for watching the video and your comments! I'm glad you enjoyed watching my Mark VII! It is a great car.
I always wanted an LSC and just recently, week ago, was fortunate enough to purchase a pristine 1991 LSC with 25,400 miles. I too was fortunate to receive the complementary key fob and original dual set of keys, including the duplicate tags. I’m still pinching myself to see if I’m not dreaming, these Lincoln’s are soooooooo COOL! You have a NICE LSC, hang onto it!
Yeah, this one is a keeper!
I had one of this back in the 90s , nothing but problems 😢
Sorry to hear that. I hope you did enjoy the video though!
Enjoyed the view, story and ride!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Same fog lamps as were on my 85 Turbo Coupe and as I believe it was the first car I had with anti lock brakes, I bet they were on the same years Lincoln's too.
what an absolute stunning Lincoln you have there. you know your fax too.
Thank you very much!

Great trip down memory lane for me. I had an '88 LSC in high school (2003-2004). It came with its share of problems but I still enjoyed the car. I had to convert the air ride to conventional suspension, had overheating issues, I don't remember exactly what they were though, bad window motors and the AC compressor went out right after it was converted to R134a. I ignored the minor issues and put Flowmaster exhaust on it with an offroad H pipe. People thought a Mustang was coming.
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the video! I just purchased an '88 Turbo Coupe Thunderbird. Stay tuned and please subscribe!
Small world :) I had a gunmetal gray '88 LSC, miss that car at times. I sold it in 1992 and bought a 1989 Thunderbird SC which I still have, and probably always will. Beautiful original car you have there!
Glad you enjoyed the video! I just got an '88 Turbo Coupe Thunderbird. So, stay tuned and please subscribe! Thank you.
Such a cool car. I always wanted one. Enjoy.
I bought a 14k mile 1985 LSC in 1986. White with tan interior. They all had digital speedometer and fuel gauges that year. Loved the car and enjoyed it for 6 years. The 4 wheel air suspension also kept the car level front to back and side to side.
Very nice!
Beautiful LSC! I own a 92 LSC SE in Garnet over black interior. I absolutely love it! 65k miles and all original. These cars are hidden gems of the car hobby world. That's quite a score you got too getting that on BaT!
Thanks bud!
Awesome car! When these came out in 1983 for 1984 along with its cousin cars the Thunderbird and Cougar these cars were ahead of the times! Looked more like a car from the 90s instead of early/mid 80s. Most cars were boxy crappy, carbureted designed these had no hard edges with modern styling and fuel injected engines
You're right!
Sweet ride, I've always wanted a black or green Mark VII LSC. Yours was originally sold on my 6th birthday which is cool ( to me ) Now I'm 41
Yeah. The LSC has always been one of my favorite cars of all time.
LSC came out in 1984 with 5 bolt hubs and wheels just like the Mustang SVO but someone told me that they didn’t use the same part numbers for the hubs and rotors. I could wrong.
Interesting, I did not know that.
How much leg room do these have in the front compare to a grand Marquis or Buick lesabre bench seats?
I would estimate about 25% less legroom.
Awesome looking Mark VII LSC !! Check out the comment i also left for you on your TBird SC!! MB
Was my dream car in late 80s. Had to make do with an 09 MKZ ... much nicer interior with real wood ... but otherwise inferior.
Yeah, the Mark VII is one of my favorites too!
Its a nice ride but it needs a proper exhaust!!!!
Yeah, it's pretty quiet.
'Larsen' ..?, shouldn't surprise me if you have a Norwegian background ..
But congrats on that car - the modern version of it specifically, the Lincoln Continental is very successful in that form.
When, after all, having to leave the earlier, dignified and stylish sixties/seventies cult of am. car - is the 89 model perfect ..!
Yep. Norwegian background! Glad you like the Mark VII!
@@LarsensGarage It's a very good background - rock solid!😉
@@hauk65000 Haha! It is!
Once you swap those garbage air bags out its a top. I miss mine
If you can't hold the camera steady stop doing videos.
My 14 year old son does the videos. He's learning a lot and getting better...but we aren't pros!
@@LarsensGarage Why even post the video that's wobbly like that? Did you check it after you filmed? Anyway, I'm restoring a 90 Mark 7 at the moment, good luck with yours .
