Pink Floyd are the greatest live band in history and this performance in 1994 was the best live concert ever.

I listen to some PF almost every day. I am still torn between Comfortably Numb, High Hopes and On the Turning Away, as to which is my absolute favourite song. All three are masterpieces (all their music is amazing) ……but presently, I have to say High Hopes is my #1. Being that I am almost 70 years old, the nostalgia and melancholy of this song brings back so many wonderful memories. Gilmore’s slid guitar work on this song is just amazing. He has the ability to translate emotion into music. Their are many amazing guitar players in the world….but for me……nobody can touch his ability to make you “feel” the music.

One of the highlights of the new material played live on the 94 tour. I saw them outdoors at RFK Stadium in Washington DC in July that summer. Anytime Dave sat down at the pedal steel it was epic. Not that the rest of the gig wasn't life changing.

Floyd: ' the last time dave ill ever play again " echoes" cause of Rick.s Passing. He once said he felt like Rick and him talk to each other with their instruments. " great day for freedom. Dave,s last concert " Live at Pompeii". he is the only person to play in the Amphitheatre since 79 AD when the volcano erupted killing 16,000 people. Your sharing, honesty, and vulnerability are such a gift. Thank you. I used to listen to music with my fiancé, some of our closest time together. She passed away suddenly and I’ve been very alone since then. Seeing music reaction videos is as close as I can be to that feeling of listening to music with someone again. Your expressions speak so vividly to your experience as you listen. Thank you so much for sharing so honestly how you feel.

Pink Floyd is one of my all-time favorite bands you'll find out just how unique they are with their music. Pink Floyd started out in 1966 it was Rodger Waters and three other band members. David Gilmour who is the lead guitarist and lead singer now didn't come into the band until 1970 and that changed the sound of Pink Floyd from there on. If you listen to Pink Floyd from 1966 to 1969 you'll realize it just doesn't sound the same until David Gilmour came in and took over and Rodger Waters stayed with them until least to the early 80s. You have albums like meddles, obscured by clouds, animals, wish you were here, the Dark Side of the Moon which would become their biggest Hit album. Then later that would come out with albums like momentary lapse of reason which would become another big hit for them. Their live Pulse concert was one of the best concerts I ever had. They did have another live concert called the Delicate Sound of Thunder I believe that came out in 87 or 88, and I actually got to see that concert here in Georgia at the Georgia Tech Stadium and I believe it was 88 or 89 when I saw that concert. But if you get the chance this would be my request to you is to listen and watch to the whole concert live from the pulse-concert back in 1994. All I can say is that Pink Floyd is one-of-a-kind and there is no their band like them. If there is anything else you would like to know about this band then I have the answer. Hope you enjoy and God bless.

@@haveabarryniceday238 actually it's called a pedal steel but slide is close enough you are correct. I just made the statement because it was a strange video showing the screen behind them a whole lot more rather than the band. The actual High Hopes video I've seen from the Pulse show shows the band a lot more and the round screen behind them a lot less. In other words you get to see the "slide guitar" being played by David a lot more! 😉

Legs Akimbo and his wife Hovis were enjoying a lazy Sunday in their flat in Brentford. They had just finished eating 50-foot pancakes and were lounging on the sofa, flicking through the pages of the adult magazine Razzle.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Legs jumped up to answer it, and was surprised to find his neighbor, the legendary guitarist Brian May, standing outside.
"Hey Legs, hey Hovis," Brian said with a smile. "Just wanted to stop by and say hi."
Legs and Hovis were starstruck. They had heard of Brian May and his band Queen, and they deeply respected him. They invited him in, and the three of them settled in the living room.
As they chatted, Hovis couldn't resist showing Brian the latest issue of Razzle, pointing out pictures of hairy growlers and split beavers. Brian blushed and tried to change the subject, but Legs and Hovis were oblivious to his discomfort.
After a while, Brian had to leave to get ready for a concert, but he promised to come back and visit soon. As he left, Legs and Hovis felt a surge of excitement. They had just spent time with a rock star!
Feeling bold, they decided to go out and do something daring. They went to the local corner store, where Hovis quickly grabbed a candy bar and stuck it in her pocket. Legs followed suit, grabbing a pack of gum and shoving it in his jacket.
But before they could make it out of the store, they were caught by the store manager, who accused them of shoplifting. The police were called, and Legs and Hovis were taken to the station.
As they sat in the holding cell, Legs and Hovis couldn't help but feel embarrassed. They had let their admiration for Brian May get the better of them, and now they were facing serious consequences for their actions.
But just when they thought things couldn't get any worse, the door to the cell opened, and there was Brian May, accompanied by a lawyer.
"Hey guys," Brian said with a grin. "I heard what happened and I wanted to help. My lawyer is here to sort everything out."
Legs and Hovis were stunned. Not only had Brian come to their rescue, but he had also brought a lawyer to help them out. They couldn't believe their luck.
In the end, the charges were dropped, and Legs and Hovis were free to go. As they walked out of the police station, they turned to Brian and thanked him profusely.
"No problem, guys," Brian said with a smile. "Just remember, it's not worth risking everything just to impress someone else. You're better off being yourselves."
Legs and Hovis nodded, realizing that Brian was right. They had let their admiration for him get the better of them, but they now knew that true admiration meant respecting someone without feeling the need to imitate them.
As they said goodbye to Brian and headed home, Legs and Hovis felt grateful for the lesson they had learned, and for the unexpected bond they had formed with their neighbor.
