Not even remotely close, he was awkward af and barely got any words out let alone actually hit on her. He's clearly far better with a stick and puck than he is T and A.
I was at the game where Mike Legg scored the goal for Michigan, (an NCAA tournament game during a title run) I had no idea what happened, just that the puck somehow appeared to fly airborn into the net and Michigan had tied the game.
It’ll never be his signature move he’s just a guy that’s done it several times but Svechnikov did it twice in a row before anyone else it’s Svech’s signature move sorry dude
@@JohnpaulDejoria666 In the United States, it is called a "Michigan goal" or "The Michigan", named after Mike Legg's alma mater. Canadians typically call it a lacrosse goal. In North Carolina, it is called "The Svetch", short for Andrei Svechnikov, the first NHL player to score a goal in this style
My comment way above has nothing to do with the Hockey player flirting with the women. I just feel like I am garenteed an education in the highest exelence and I am educated and uneducated at the same time but I have the mind of a 15 year old... I'm 32 now and I will become 33 in December but I am only as smart as a special ed teenager.☹
Zegras has to score glitch goals it goes with his clown shoes lol if he's so talented why hasn't he ever been in the top 5 scoring?? He has to show off
I mean traditional hockey fans will be upset with him smiling after a loss. Hockey has the most boomers when it comes to the attitude traditional fans have. They want to see you only celebrate if you won. In other sports you see people laughing on the bench down by a lot. In hockey that gets heavily criticized
@@DoomOfTheNoldor Have you ever been to a city that hockey is the number one sport? Leafs Nation talked about players laughing on the bench for weeks after it happened during a loss. I know I would not want a player to seem happy right after a loss during an interview
I'm all for fun, skill and creativity in sports. Seeing athletes express themselves and pull off moves that were thought to be impossible generation's prior is a beautiful thing. It helps advance the game. That being said, why would you be celebrating anything after a loss? And why wouldn't fans of a team be annoyed if players were smiling/laughing/joking around after a loss, especially a bad one? The regular season is a results driven competition and ultimately about finishing as high as you can in the standings and winning the Cup. One thing I'll always love seeing more than skill is players who have the strength and determination to do what it takes to get their team over the line. To take the game by the neck and impose their willpower on it. When you see some of these players who couldn't be bothered, who are good enough to play at the highest level but couldn't care less about winning, just collecting a bag and goofing around, it comes off poorly to a lot of us watching who could only dream of having the chance to do what they're doing. Win the game, then smile and celebrate.
Terrible hockey no hitting no checking it’s figure skating with hockey sticks if these punks tried that in the hockey I grew up watching they would be in the fifth row
Everyone seems to love these Michigan goals but I think it's setting a very dangerous precedent. There's no other aspect in professional hockey where it's legal to carry the puck. If you allow this play to continue to be legal then the next step is players are going to be scooping up the puck on their stick blade and skating the length of the ice with it. Hockey will descend into madness if everybody's trying to pick up the puck like in lacrosse.
I'm not a fan of it either. Very gimmicky. Something that should be saved for all star weekend. There's no other part of professional hockey where carrying the puck is legal. I think they should make a rule change to make it illegal to carry the puck on the blade of your stick. Because if you keep allowing the Michigan to be legal what's to stop people from one day just scooping up the puck on their stick blade and skating the length of the ice with it like that? Hockey would be utter nonsense if people started doing that all the time.
@@RoughRaiders13 they’ll get hammered, that’s what will stop them. Short of that it isn’t hard to knock the puck off of a stick when it is being carried at all. The problem with those plays is they are rare enough that the defense does not expect them. Look at it the other way, it is a lacrosse play. Well, how do lacrosse defenses prevent this from happening? Start there.
