You'll look fine with a shaved head. You should maybe get a short buzzcut, now. That will prepare you for going smooth bald in your 20's. I had my head shaved when I was 22. I wasn't balding at all. I went bald on my 24th birthday. The first month was difficult and awkward. I had lots of doubts but I soon convinced myself it’s still me, the same man just with a little less hair off the top. Honestly, I get compliments from both men and lady’s. I feel like I’ve had more success with the bald look. Some may call it a power move. Older gentleman respect my confidence to go bald and have even said it took longer for them to accept themselves. I get girls wanting to rub my head or ask me why I went bald. My boys call me Johnny Sins and my coworkers call me pitbull haha. I just go with it and embrace the look. DALE!

Well said! Some guys just can't let go. Accept it for what it is and rock it with confidence.
You don't have to change it if you don't want to you know. There's finasteride and micro needling as well as minoxidil. Baldness is optional. It's worked for me. I went from having the drain be clogged with hair every time I'd shower to having barely any hairs fall out at all.
Absolutely. The client looks phenomenal. A lot of guys may see this cut and think they don't want none but in reality, getting this cut will make them the face that runs the place.

I've been shaving my head for 10 years, and the approach done here is the best. When I started shaving my head, my barber started with a very close buzz cut, and then used the razor. After that he applied the foil, and my head felt very smooth. In some other times, when he forgot to charge the foil, he'd give me another round with the straight razor against the grain, and it would feel even smoother.
Currently, I shave my head myself. It's very fun, very clean, and my wife says it's manly.
If you're going bold, I really recommend you go for it.

I’ve always said that everyone should go bald at least once in their life. This dude has the head for baldness.
I'm 25 years old and my hairline is already receding. At first it is hard to accept but later on you'll get used to it. For me it doesn't matter anymore if you're balding. The important thing is you have a healthy body and free from any illness. Life is too short to worry too much on baldness!
Bulk up some muscle and shave it all the way down. Not only you will feel more confident, you will notice people perceive you differently, and that is a nice reinforcement loop. Shave it down, be a man and remember: no regrets.

That’s what I do with mine. Easy to maintain. Use a $50 cordless. Charge last me two weeks with a cut 2-3 days at 10 minutes each session

I've had a monk's patch growing since high school. I finally went full bald earlier this at age 35 and it was the best decision. I would have done done it sooner, but my wife kept begging me to hold it off. When I can back home with a cleanly shaved dome, her first words were, "you should have done that for the wedding."
My god, dude went from average dude to bad ass with that shaved head. What a massive difference! Great job!

I'm 30, and I started losing my hairline pretty young, somewhere between 18-21. I started wearing a hat, ALL the time. Trying to hide it. I just shaved my head completely for the first time earlier this year. And I've never felt better about myself. I look soo much better shaved, than with the cul-de-sac, Dr. Phil look. It's a hassle sometimes, having to take a razor to my head everyday. But absolutely worth it. Wish I would have done it sooner.
You remind me of the barber I had most of my life, a true pro. Great job, he looks excellent.

I’ve been seeing way more bald + beard looks in public lately.
Really think it’s ‘growing’ on people.
He has a lot of hair left in theory but there's very few ways to make that 'nipped at both ends' hairline look good without taking it to the grain (if not super close cropped).
I noticed his hair line definitely receding and thining on the crown. He can pull off the bald head pretty well and in my opinion should rock it until he gets tired of it.
He looks so much better and more handsome with out the hair. Perfect head for bald too.

Dig it, looks good on him. I've rocked this look for 20 years now.. I like a faded side burn vs a lower hard line side burn, I think the longer side burn fade transitions into the bald better. Some times I'll rock the pointed sideburn transition too.

I used to have long hair too. It was like going for an operation when I needed even a trim. I started thinning when I was around 23 also so off I went one day to a barber friend and said just take it all off down to the bone he said 'are you sure' I said 'do it now before I change my mind' and i'm glad I did I hate to think what I would have looked like today if I had put it off. After seeing these two gents on here i'm thinking I might grow a beard now. Looks cool lads :)

Embrace the baldness, my hair started thinning so I decided to have it trimmed 1mm in length. I tried a clean shave and I got addicted. The sound and sensation of hair being razor shaved is addicting. After that I asked the barbed to apply alcohol, it stings for a short time but after that it feels clean and great.
Getting your head shaved while Rush rocks out "Tom Sawyer" in the background is a definite win-win! Looks great on him.
This is the kind of head shave I want. Been buzzing my head with a pair of trimmers for the last 5 years. Never once took a razor to my head yet. Never felt the need to with how low I can get it with the trimmers. But if I was going to spend money for a proper head shave I'd want to come here. Looked up this shop and its 2 hours and 45 minutes away from me where I am in southern Ma, just a bit far for me to travel for a shave haha.

That is a bang up job and looks the business. Man, I would love to come in and get the hedge on my face sorted out. I'm 2, 4 and 8. 2 on the head, 4 on the cowlick under my chin, 8 for the the beard. Then I try to tidy up myself. Getting this kind of treatment - I'd really like to see the result. Great work, love the ethos, the skill and that is a hell of a soundtrack.

I looked like a goof ball with my thinning hair so i just shaved it on a slow day at the shop. Barbers as a general rule are the last ones to get haircuts, you work all day cutting hair and then have to ask a coworker for a haircut. Or you try to give yourself a haircut and screw it up. Shaving your head just makes life easier on us.

Nice job. I used to have long hair when I was younger but I have male pattern baldness and wet shave my head every 2 days. I have found baldness to be a blessing. The best thing is to embrace it.
