I want to purchase a car, so I request you please suggest the best option for me.
Budget - 1.5lac to 2lac
Condition - used
Usage - 100km a day ( I frequently need to travel for marketing purpose)
Seeking for - low maintenance and good mileage. Means overall cost of running should be less.
Fuel - LPG or Diesel
Also this will be my first car.
I know this is very less budget but please suggest me the best option.

1 -yes its a good choice,2 -2.8 laks to 4 laks cause its almost 8 yrs old and also depends how many time insurance has been taken,had car met any accident yet,it can cause the diffrence in price ,3 -drive as harsh as u can,speed up the car and take upto 130+ ,n feel the vibration,but be very carefull and put the seat belts while doing this,
Queries:
1. Can the mileage of a car be tampered easily?
2. How can we know if the previous owner of car had used the insurance claim?
3. Is it necessary to get a new registration in the name of new owner after buying a second hand car?
4. What is the approximate cost for the process in point 3.
5. For how many years can we drive an old car (petrol/diesel) in Haryana as per government? Where can we find this information?

brother it will depend city to city,for example cars are more cheap in delhi and mumbai instead of small town,in normal city the price for a perfect condition swift will be around 2.5 laks to 3.4 laks and wagnor about 1.5 laks to 2.2 laks,

Sir, some times buying 2nd hand car will become costlier then buying the new car, and profits are only for banks and dealers. For example in this year around dheepavli (deevaali) I searched for the 2nd hand car and the price of the 2nd hand car Hyundai grand i 10, 2014 model sports varient was 4.75 lakhs (not negotiable) at Pavan hyundai in Bangalore. And the rate of interest for 2nd hand cars r 14.5% in HDFC, so per lakh the customer will be paying Rs 15000 Thousands extra interest which is apart from the what the interest for new car. So the cars value will automatically increases by 15%. And after the 90 Thousand rupees discount the new car price is 6.1 lakhs on road, so tha difference is just about 1.35 lakhs. So if customer goes for 4 lakh rupees of loan he will be paying Rs 60 Thousands more, so 4.75+ .6 =5.35 lakhs, so the savings will be just around 75 Thousands. Just to save 75 Thousands for buying a 3 year old 2nd hand car is absolutely non sense.
So sirji please educate people in this regard.
