About 90% of all villians who monologs my wife is like, "They ain't wrong...." 😂
Thanos was right!
Thanos was pretty clearly wrong.
What's interesting is Wanda could have just found a dimension where her kids mother had died and filled that space. Still would have created an incursion and all that jazz but a lot less evil
Right! I wonder if perhaps, these were the versions from her dreams, and she’d gotten attached to them that way. In any case, it was never a very well-thought-out move on her part…
@@jeffreycarman2185 she couldn't directly travel to those universes, she had to dreamwalk, taking over the body of her other universe self, which she couldn't do if the mom was dead, that is why she needed America Chavez who COULD teleport but couldnt control her powers, she was going to sacrifice her to send her body to another universe to be with her kids
Obi-Wan Kenobi is the all-time greatest Star Wars character, and one of the best of all cinema.
Clyde Shelton has every right to become a vigilante and go after those that directly hurt his family, but loses all credibility going after those involved in the trial (especially the assistant). He's a former CIA operative, let's not pretend he doesn't have innocent blood on his hands.
I agree and I don't. If you see something wrong and don't try to do anything about it, you become just as guilty.
It takes strength to resist the darkness, only the weak embrace it.
-Obi Wan Kenobi
Remember what Darth Vader said to Luke Skywalker, come over to the dark side. You don't know the power of the force.
You missed Jake... from Statefarm
I keep seeing these jokes but Jake was just in a new state farm commercial so am I just missing something?
@@ajturner2307 Maybe the original Jake from State Farm?
SNL did an spoof where Jake slowly took over a man's entire life.
Which one? The original funny one or the modern boring dull plank of wood one that won’t go away?
Trying to kill a innocent child, no matter the reason, makes you a monster, Scarlet Witch.
Even if it's Adolf?
Even if it's baby Hitler?
I said innocent. America Chavez was innocent.
@@justinguidroz9659 Every child is innocent
@@DreynHarry they have several evil kids in fiction and in real life.
#10 - why didn't Scarlet Witch just dreamwalk to a universe where her kids had lost their mother?
Nah, would rather murder a bunch of folks first... including a version of myself.
posted under someone else's reply to but just incase you wanted to know why she couldn't directly travel to those universes, she had to dreamwalk, taking over the body of her other universe self, which she couldn't do if that body was dead, that is why she needed America Chavez who COULD teleport but couldnt control her powers, she was going to sacrifice her to send her body to another universe to be with her kids
In the Grinch, the town wrote an entire song about how much of a piece of shit he was. It'd be an asshole also
Having the right doesn’t make it right. There is always a choice.
It’s all in the presentation
Thank you. This was just narcissistic nonsense
The Punisher
I hate that Katie Homles didn’t come back for The Dark Knight or wish they just hired the actress from TDK first before Katie.
Michael Shannon's Zod can be put in this list too. The man was forced to see his home planet destroyed by bureaucrats.
Just saw that movie. He was so awesome! He always is, but I loved his version of Zod. He had more depth.
10 movie characters who really had no good reason to become villains
Paul was not a hero in the books either. He refused the golden path because he did not want to.give up his humanity. This selfishness forced the burden on his child leto II.
Her fake children isn’t all Wanda lost, she also lost her accent after the first couple of appearances
Accent was a gradual drop and represents her acclimation to her new life. Likewise, she was working with Widow to learn how to blend in and adapt
I agree 💯% with the scarlet witch one.
No mention of Roy Batty or Erik Killmonger ?
This list is a bit flawed.
Favorite Jim Carrey movie has to be Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
This list is brilliant. Speculations of hero's alternate fates are something seldom seen in CZcams essays.
This list is so deluded. Mysterio was right "It's easy to convince anyone to believe anything, cause they've already convinced themselves"
The more you look at it, Koba is responsible for everything that happens from Rise of the Planet of the Apes onward since he was the one to cause the outbreak of the Simean Flu when he infected Franklin.
Who thought Paul Atreidies was a hero?! Did we see/read a different book/movie?
Two things: 1) so the number one example is someone who didn't become a villain, and
2) I've not seen Law Abiding Citizen, but it's set-up seems to basically be The Punisher.
I mean I personally don’t see the Grinch as a villain but I can understand why some people do. Honestly though he was just a poor kid that was ruthlessly bullied as a child causing him to become extremely hateful and depressed. He’s not all that bad though especially if you take into a theory people have that he actually took in Max after he discarded by a Who after said Who received Max as a Christmas present and just tossed him out like garbage.
My favourite Jim Carrey film is definitely Once Bitten
Aw, we love that movie. It's so stupid and yet so much fun.
The Kung Fu Panda villain description sounds like Anakin Skywalker.
You're really leaving out the legendary tale of Anerkin Skywerker?
I mean from his point of view the jedi are evil.
It's like poetry, they rhyme.
Favorite Jim Carrey movie? Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.
Wanda: Stark's weapons killed her parents, then Stark "protected" her on Avengers compound by assigning one of his creations to be her "guard", then Stark leaves her in The Raft and reckon Vision helped Cap with that since WandaVision and then had to see her BF die twice in rapid succession before getting dusted herself and she could have ripped Thanos apart if he didn't RAIN FIRE and Stark again robbed her of vengeance by dusting Scrot-face himself while nooobody looked for her afterwards even when they knew about Westview so pretty much Strange and Wong brought all this on themselves and I don't care to see what feckless excuses they make/made in She-Hulk about wtf sorcerers even do to "protect" when all the do is eat ice cream and deli sandwiches. Winter-Falcon, Dora should have kept Bucky's arm after he found Zemo. Kaecilius, Killmonger, Wanda pointed out the hypocrisy of the "heroes".
Clyde Shelton № 1
Also, he was a hero.
The Truman Show
Wanda could have just had children in the normal way...I doubt someone who looks like her would have had much trouble finding a willing (non-robotic) partner.
Yeah, people aren't interchangeable like snow mobile parts. You don't tell a parent who lost their kids, well just have some more, what's the big deal.
@@Ceares they weren't real to begin with, she made them up.
She could have had actual, real children.
Wanda didn't witness her brother die she did apparently feel it when it happened tho
Wanda absolutely was a villain. And annoying. And she should've been locked up after everyone figured out what she was doing in Wanda Vision. She should've been put in some kind of super hero psych hospital never to be seen or heard from again.
Don't give Dr strange mom any excuse
LOKI.
Wanda had no righg to become the villain and was a very idiotic one at that.
The one I would have liked on this list is Nimue from Hellboy 2019. Bad movie, great character turned villain. If you know about the uncut opening that is
Number 10; Tony Stark: Everyone wants a happy ending, right? Unfortunately not everyone can have one.
Tony Stark was a war profiteer 🤷🏾♂️
@@AbominableQueer until he had his eyes opened.
@@davidchism6081 until it affected him personally 👌🏽
Trying to justify Paul Atreides' actions sounds a lot like: "His reaction was understandable after being declined by the art school twice."
Batman and any hero who continues to prioritize a faulty morality over actual lives, does nearly as much damage as the actual villains. Interesting how no one ever thinks that Batman is disrespecting soldiers and policeman with his "I don't kill" attitude and yet that stance implies he is morally superior to anyone who takes a life to protect a multitude of others. Never mind the people that he does irrevocable physical harm to during his fights, leaving villains like the Joker alive to repeatedly escape and and kill people is just murder by proxy. If you want to truly guard the sheep, you have to be willing to kill the wolf. Leave one wolf alive, and the sheep are never safe.
Ace Ventura
My favourite avourite Jim Carrey movie will always be "The Mask"
The number 23
Scarlet witch... all she had to do was find a universe where she had died, but her kids had lived...
What?? Batman wasn't a villain!
Eternal Sunshine or The Truman Show.
Y'all left out Killmonger.
Didn't you know he was the villain
@CButler agreed. I get it.
Jim Carrey's best role is The Mask. Hands down.
It was the Darkhold corrupting Wanda that made her go off the deep end.
Doesn't justify what she done. She knew what the book was and chose to seek & read the book, she chose to embrace the darkness.
@@jamespope7669 Nobody was there to help her through her problems in a healthy way. The likes of Hawkeye and Bucky were too busy starring in their tv shows at the time.
Why does almost every sentence not ending with 'T' or 'S' end with "-uh?"
Trilogyuh
Kiduh
Arresteduh
Beuh
Sceneuh
Systemuh
Happenuh
That's just some of them from an approx a 90 second span.
It's 10x worse when guys use weird inflections and vocal fry than when girls do, and it is intensely distracting and annoying when chicks do it.
Because he's British. That is literally how the English accent works.
@@Highkey-Loki It isn't, thoughuh.
@@Highkey-Loki it literally is not how it "works."
@@thruyou These people tryna tell me how my own damn accent sounds
You do realize that British accents are like that, right? Brits can't change the way their accents pronounce words.
Pam and Jason Voorhees
Pam sure, I can see that. But Jason is more of a supernatural entity. So I wouldn't count him. Since most of the time it was the visions of his mother that kept him going
@@smilinmadman are the others on this list not supernatural entities?
@@BobbySacamano the Tethered were science experiments, same with Kado.
@BobbySacamano And Wanda had superpowers, while they maybe supernatural in nature, she herself is not. Ghosts, undead, zombies, vampires, ghouls, things of that nature
Wanda's kids were never real in the universe we follow
Obi wan isn't a villain
But, it’d be understand as to why he could have been
They're not saying he's a villain.
What they told you is true, from a certain point of view.
Neither is Batman. That’s not what this list is about
the jedi are sketchy to me
Vulture and Killmonger
How do you not know they were both criminals.
@@jamespope7669 Not to start, they became villains based on their circumstances. Of course they’re villains. Do you not know what this video is about?
First you say that Dune was authored by Harlan Ellison, now you say Obi-Wan is a villain. Someone at WhatCulture isn't earning their paycheck. Thank God you're not journalists.
Wheres John Kramer ?
Wanda doesn't get a pass at all. She was absolutely wrong to do everything she did during wandavision and in Dr Strange. Saying anything else is just making excuses.
Early
Wanda didn't lose her kids ... she never actually had any
Wanda didn’t lose her sons. They were never real.
Obi Wan.. a villain? 🤔

I forgot Wanda was the only avenger with a hard life
Natasha raised to become a killer for the KGB. Her birth mother tried to get her back but was killed and buried in a grave with a cruel headstone.
Hard life? Wanda volunteered to be experimented on, she abused her powers, she enslaved a town, she chose to read that book knowing what it does. She's no victim and her evil crimes can not be justified
Scarlet witch did not have a right to become a villain. Now I can understand if she'd actually become a villain during the Ultron movie, because she blamed Tony Stark for everything and thought the world hated and feared her for being a mutant. However the fact that she lost Vision and then she "lost " her sons during Wanda vision, is not a reason to then want to murder an innocent girl just so she can have her little fantasy life back again. We've all lost somebody and sometimes it is horribly tragic and feels like it's ripped your heart out of your chest, but that doesn't mean it gives you the right to become evil
Wanda lost her 2 imaginary sons!
Killmonger
He was the villain numnuts
@@jamespope7669 yes, special needs person. He had every right to become exactly what he became. He was justified. Take your pills and put your helmet ⛑️ on.
Dude, seriously. Why don’t you know how to read out loud?
Love how everyone affirms that women aren’t allowed to be villains but dudes are allowed all of the excuses in the known universe 🙄😒
I.E. Loki 👍🏽 Wanda 👎🏽
Don't forget every time a woman is a villain, people like you feel the need to justify the evil they've done and make them in to a victim.
@@jamespope7669 examples?
Wanda's change was and still is dumb in my opinion. She went through a redemption arc and basically flipped because she lost her android husband and made up children.
Her children never really existed and an android can be rebuilt.
Wanda never had sons... those were only her imagination.
Her in the thumb nail she's always the villain even in real life.
You lost me when you started with Wanda. Just another trash list
This is one of the most twisted videos I’ve seen in a long long time.. made me wonder just how little moral progress the uk/british have actually made…
8:00 did you seriously call koba a bonobo?
That whole Batman being the villain Gotham needed him to be never made sense.
1:01 Yup it is surprising actually, look at the film gladiator for example Maximus Decimus Meridius was enslaved, his adoptive father murdered, his wife and child were murdered, his wife was most likely r*ped for all we know considering the time period. He was forced to fight and murder in the arena for "entertainment" He was betrayed by his country after faithfully serving in the military for decades and still he does not even come close to becoming a villain. Then again he was a man of honor who lived in a pre modern society where everything was not handed out like candy on halloween and had to grow as a person, while Wanda and magic powers for her to overcome any adversity she faced.
5:31 What horrors? Simple math and science disproves the lies we are taught about that time period. Anyone who calls up a crematory office and asks how many people can be cremated in one day with one oven, just needs to do simple math to disprove it.
8:45 Funny so if a few members of a race do horrible things to an individual, then it is right to harbor hatred towards the whole race? Why does your country imprison people who say anything "racist" after a family member is murdered or r*ped by the foreigners invading your land today then? Are you out there protesting in the streets of England against the foreigners since native people of you island have been r*ped and murdered by so called "refugees"? I doubt it.
