i can totally see this band flooding every single metal or hard rock shows opening slot, they had killer management im sure. I have to admit though i really love em. What type of bands did they open for, UFO ? KISS? QUO? let us know haha
In his book "Off The Rails," Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy's Bassist) mentions Girl briefly. Apparently Ozzy, Def Leppard, and Girl toured together and the audience didn't take too kindly to Phil and the gang. Their loss, these guys sound great.
not true. In a moment of spite Don Arden took us off a promised US Ozzy tour with UFO too (we had just toured UK with UFO and some dates with label mate Ozzy., Def Leppard got it and helped brake them in US
This band were the support band for almost every gig i saw from 1980 - 1983 and every time i saw them they had less and less equipment - started with dozens of marshall stacks and ended up with a couple of 1x12 combos - we all hated them.
I love them! I just found out about these guys and decided to check them out. They're awesome!! :D (andmyipodaccidentallymademepresstheflagbuttonwhyohwhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy)
Anne Nightingale (the presenter) always went with any musical trend that was in vogue so as to be 'relevant' to the kids. Pretty pathectic really as she was no spring chicken. She once claimed that public image on OGWT was the best thing ever on the show...go figure.
three words: Phil - F'n - Lewis!!
Great band, have their first two albums on vinyl 👌
That red flying v rocks!!!!!
I love this song still. A great band. I remember buying Love is a Game on white vinyl when I was on a Scout camp.
Damn Phil was hot guess this was before he got a clue about how to 👗 his Gothic style better now. Love this song especially when guns did it
What a great band and such a cool track
I heard Phil tonight on Eddie Trunks show.
He was saying there's a chance of some GIRL dates in the future.
Thanks for posting.

Sheer greed futtin’ rawked, ho futtin’ almuhn rawked!
wow great
just to mention Def Leppard and Phil Lewis hardly didn't know each other when they started Girl...
Phil Collen was good friends with them even during his time in Girl
You can hear a little bit of Def leppard in this tune.
Naturally.

Isn't this a later L.A. Guns song?
saw these supporting UFO back in the eighties........ What happened to them ?
Spandex'd Beefheart LA Guns
Guitarist joined Def Leppard. Singer joined LA Guns.
Joe Elliot (def leppard) taked the Phil Lewis looks ¡¡
Can you see Me and My Wine video ¡¡¡
Ahh...a future member of Def Leppard AND a future member of L.A. Guns...nice.
Pete Barny on drums
Its Dave Gaynot
Gaynor
The States already had David Lee Roth and Van Halen.
Weird comparison, both were great but not on the same page!
Bonner blowout? What the heck does that mean??
yikes. Here ya go. Vintage. Queen in early 70s and Def Leppard in early 80s.
Sounds like my kind of band.
What's with the stuffy presenter? "This kind of music," she says.

A million times better than that cheesy LA metal band he ended up in.
1980 Cars Queen wannabees ,squarly aimed at the US and went nowhere fast.....
WTF are you talking bout
Not wannabees, Phil Lewis and Phil Collen are both still in the music business, Still here...
