the costing and production was very optimistic. 2023 prices are half of what was reported here and the expenses was twice as high. in short, copra is 24 pesos per kilo (2023 prices) and labor cost is 2 pesos for collection and dehusking per nut. Not Php 1.25 as reported here. Other than that, the article was very good and helpful.

Pasenya ka na pero I disagree ako sa sinasabi mo...hindi tau nakadepende sa India.in fact, may mga taong nagaaproach sakin na nakabase from India and they asking to supply them ng copra. Unfornately wala ako ganun kadami copra, its mean na alam na sa Pilipinas maraming nagpproduce ng kopra at nung sinabi ko ang presyo willing siyang bumili ng copra at eexport sa India. 2023 prices are very low, just sold mine at 24 per kilo. It reached (Briefly) a high of php 40 but that was just a spike
