Changed the name of the channel to TwinStick Garage, planning to continue rescuing and restoring old trucks one piece at a time once this Peterbilt is finally finished. Probably a dozen episodes to go on this truck yet, then onto the next project. - Zábava
Had a Mack B-61 growing up on a farm, had a gas engine, with a 5x4x2 transmission Dad taught me to drive it, never forget that giant white steering wheel, turned 21 got my Chauffers license in 1977 drove trucks till 2016, it never gets out your blood .
Uncle Tony’s channel is awesome!! Not to take away from you and yours. I don’t drive semi trucks nor do I want one. I really like watching people who are knowledgeable and solve problems not just replace them with new and shiny parts.
Fantastic to have a daughter who says, i love to hear that turbo whistle!
A real petrolhead, awesome!
Watched from the start very appreciative see one brought back to life I have been in the seat of one for 35 years”keep the dirty side down”c’mon back!!!!
Just finished the 2 '75 Dodge Bighorns last Summer. Now onto an '86 Liberty Edition W900 and an '86 359. Nothing better than restore these Classic Beasts.
1.54 in, when a truck/car guys kids say, that is cool moment!
I know the feelings me, my brother and my kids feels for our dads bedford!
I love trucks!
There you go, tell the wife you have to build a shop now, the channel title requires it!! Good luck! Uncle Tony is in my list of favorites! No nonsense there!
I have watched the restoration start to finish I love the videos keep up the good work!
Me too
MATE OLD SCHOOL RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT
Sounds better than ever on that cold start. The white smoke sure has cleared up a bunch. A few episodes back I remember it needed a good ol’ runnin.
Alright fella the truck is looking beautiful. Ur doing a proper nice job 👍 seeing you put the horns and lights on the lid reminds me of the model kits a built as a kid 🧒 by the way I was born in 79 😀👍 I loved getting too that stage where I put all the crome on the model. Well done mate stay safe keep the faith keep on trucking. Regards from south London England 🏴
Great work,i look forward every week to watch another video of your resto and you have done a great job.
Can't wait to see this truck painted
i too have watched all these video's here in the uk and the pete is looking great, hope your going to get paint job on her at some point icing on the cake. GREAT JOB.
Beautiful Peterbilt yeah definitely.
im a trucker owner op W900L local here in NJ, and I took my daughter to school one day and she loved it all her friends and the people had smiles and looks of amazement , LOL
This is better than any TV show on Netflix, been watching this from episode 3.
Can’t wait for this 359 to be completely restored and the idea of a whole new series on a W900a makes me very excited 😆
MARAVILHA DE RESTAURAÇÃO DESTE TRUCK MY FRIEND !!! CONGRATULATION !!!!😀👍👍👍👍👏👏👏
Awesome you're about ready for your first load!
Twin sticks garage you should do an early 1970s Ford F100 restoration and keep up the good work on the 1980 Peterbilt restoration thanks for sharing the videos with us I've been watching since day one
Showed my gran daddy this and we both agree youve done this truck justice! Id love to find me 1 of these
Peterbilt fashion faux pas to have square horns and round headlights on the same truck...looking good. Horns sound good as well.
Absolutely awesome project thanks for sharing
Air horns are why you own your own truck!
On one side I'm very happy for you,you finally saw your dream come true. You took your girl to school in this old but beautiful truck. All those countless hours of work finally paid off.
On the other side, I'm sad because I really enjoyed your videos and the way you explained things. Hopefully you'll find that Kenworth and give us many videos of you working on it.
Maybe on a future episode you'll explain once more how a two stick transmission works. I know you explained it in an earlier episode but I don't remember very well and I would like to see you explain it while driving it in the road. Thank you.
I’m only on episode 42 and you mentioned at one point there wouldn’t be very many videos left. All I have to say is, if you still don’t mind putting them out then keep er coming. It’s motivating, I learn a ton and it gives me confidence that I will eventually rebuild my dads old 89 Freightliner Cabover.
Awesome job! I wish I had an ounce of your talent.
Yay ...another video!!! Keep them coming!
I WATCH THE RESTAURATION FROM BRAZIL GOOD JOB. CONGRATS.
Legend has it when you say 7.3 idi zip ties cracks a cold snack
Loving it well done from across the pond 🙏🏻🍺😎
Great job and coming alot beautiful.
wauw man you are soo right about the details!! and u do/show that exellent , you just don't see that in the 'big shows'......love watching this,...you came such a long way ,keep it up!
i saw that same episode of uncle tonys garage. its very true. don't forget too that the last 20% of a project takes 90% of the time. its pretty easy to get threw the big stuff quickly but its the details that absolutely kill time. but you defiantly can't say i am ahead of you now that yours is on the road....lol 👍
Love the "semi" finishing touches knowing this kind of a project is never finished but a continuing work in progress over your span of ownership. An obvious labor of love, well done...or "well doing". Onward! 👍👍🙂
On a truck like this its the little details that matter i love this truck
Love it!
Boy California would sh!t a biscuit with that smoke.
Been watching since the beginning
Looking awesome brother.
Great video as always! I have watched all of your restoration videos and have thoroughly enjoyed them. It would be great if you could do a video explaining how you drive the old girl!
Looks and sounds good! Congratulations.
I love the Look of those Airhorns and the Marker lights. it just adds to the whole classic Big Rig design. Amazing Job getting her back on the Road and since youve been doing it all on your own you can realy say that its Your truck. You brought her back from the Grave and you where responsible for fixing her up and getting this beauty back on the Road. So hats up to you, Very Very well done :) cant wait to see more of those detailed videos about all those small things like the interiour, CB Radio installation, Matching the Cabin to the sleeper and all that. Bu i think you shouldnt completly repaint her, yes the sleeper and cab dont have the same collour but i think that just adds to her story. like those "scars" on the roof, i personaly like those things since they just add to the details and the story. But its your truck and it sure will be awesome :) Been watching for a few days now from part 1^^ Keep on Truckin!
simply beautiful love it
Like you said in the video, "with each passing episode she gets a little prettier and a little closer to the end". Kinda good and kinda sad.
ncplantdoctor na not sad ... I’m just warming up ... more projects coming soon 😉
my deepest respect for your hard work for keeping this rig on the road👍👍👍👍👍👍 enjoy for the future of your hard work🎉🎉🎉
Watched em all, great job getting her roadworthy. Be a bit cautious when bobtailing in the rain until you get used to it, they are a different animal when braking without a load. Be safe and enjoy!
And watched every one of the videos with it. Every time I got on here I was hoping there was a new one. Great storyline.
Have a good project for you. You could do a Kenworth cab over tribute to BJ and the bear. Love that truck.
Its always a good day when you walk up to a project not in coveralls with the key in hand.
if you want a more traditional look, then when you swap your roof cab over to a glass one, then swap out those horns for round ones. (the squares look way too new for this old gal)
Love watching these builds come together!
53Peterbilt when I put a new cap on I don’t plan to put horns up top, just lights. Likely put train horns on deck plate or underneath instead. Less holes in the new roof the better 👍
That ride was AWESOME...your shifting is getting smoother. Love the sounds of the engine and the turbo.
A cada vídeo o velho Pete está mais lindo!!!!
Hay Hay your getting better at the shifting.
Loved the last shifting segment!
That twin stick keeps you busy!
Imagine a heavy load hooked to her.
Great project!
She's looking better at every episode. Your getting so close to being finished that now I'm getting excited to see her with a fresh paint job. LOL😊👍
Truck is looking more beautiful with each video. Well done!
Congratulations she a beautiful
Really beautiful rig, love the way you spent so much time and everything else on this baby, thanks for taking us dreamers through the good and the not so good process, I can imagine that many would love to own and run a truck like this classic!
You should get a trailer to match the truck for the next project that would be awesome
I had suggested he get an old vintage Air Stream trailer to restore to pull behind it.
I've also watched from the start of the rebuild. I've very much enjoyed the journey of the restoration! Awesome Job, she looks good once again. Looking forward to seeing what's next in the garage... Thanks for all the videos and the hard work. Keep up the great work. 👍
Good. Keep'm coming.
I look forward to your videos every week thank you for all your hard work you put into these videos to entertain all of the people who watch
Thanks for sharing
Find a nice short trailer and make a nice camper out of it. It would be fun to take it out to see the sights and show the girls the great USA!
Awesome I've watched this whole thing from the start it was a long process and I enjoyed it all and I'm totally glad for you that your finally able to drive it and it has turned out so well and I'm also very glad that I didn't have a twin stick when I was driving truck for 20 years because that's a lot of shifting lol God Bless you and your family enjoy the old truck for many years to come because she's a beautiful old truck with alot of life in it
Great accomplishment!!! Thanks for the videos 👍
She’s come a looong way since you drug her out of the grass patch! ‘Little by little” has turned out amazing man, congratulations
Truck is coming along nicely. I see your shifting is getting better. I'm not bashing, I've never driven a twin stick myself, but any truck takes a few miles of getting used to it's feel.
You don't need any more projects. This truck still and will always need work. Unless you plan to sell it........I'll start saving my money. LOL. Be safe!
Still on top list of my favorite restoration series!
Its a real shame your coming to the end of the restoration as I have really enjoyed watching your progress. I'd like to see the front wheel arches swapped out and painted as well as the bonnet/hood. Also seeing the truck on the motorway at speed and finally towing that 5th wheel would be the icing on the cake.
Well done on a fine restoration mate.
More episodes please....
Congratulations 🍾
Best of luck with her !!!
I love that truck
Sat down to eat breakfast before I go truckin and I see a fresh new upload from just an hour ago! Now that’s a great start on a new week! LBL 👍
She has come along way. Looks great, your doing a great job.
I admire your skill and enthusiasm. Well done. 👍🇬🇧👍
Really a Pretty 359 Twinsticks. Love watching the work and restoration process. Keep up the awesome work on your ride. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find a Kenworth W900A.
I Love this truck
love the old school decal.truck is looking great.thank`s for the vid`s
I have watched these videos from day one and ever Sense he got the truck and I have watched this thing grown and I am proud to say I have been here since day one it's grown into a beautiful truck
ur Garage can be anywhere as well as ur shop. and very true there is alot of small details you have to pay attention to and fix as well.
Thanks for the ride along Sticks!
Always Great to watch your vids! Think anything you tackle next will be well worth and fun to watch!😎👍👍
I love this whole project and have followed since the start!!~ Keep them coming!
That's what life's about ,fulfilling your dreams my friend.😀
Man i love to watch her get closer and closer but a project never truly ends lol
I been watched every episode the best restoration ever and you say that thinkg in another project and i dont now youre monetary situation but a big garage is the best . so you can contineu working .
You should restore a box or flatbed trailer. The box one you could turn into a tiny house camper. Take the whole thing to shows or do like a big rig camping series with your family. Be neat.
Hello There Good Afternoon Thank You For UpLoading The Video On Your CZcams Channel And I Am Gonna Watch Your Video Right Now And You Have A Good Day And Be Safe 🤗 Peace ✌
Still watching! Keep em coming. I agree with other posters. A vintage trailer would be cool!
Oh I'm so glad you decided to keep the channel going! This was absolutely awesome to watch. The reality of what you're going through. Your journey has both made me want to try this even more, and made me second guess everything about that at the same time! Thank you!
Good truck👍👍👍👍
You gotta be beyond happy to get it on the road! As for the shifting I think you'll find it easier when you have a bit of weight on it. I find shifting while Bob tailing to be rather difficult... matching the road speed is were I struggle.
ttypewe4jim agreed and she’ll sound better under load as well 👍
You are doing a awesome job on the truck! Keep up the great work.
That was great! I love sharing my projects with my kids even tho I enjoy it more then they do by far haha. They humor me.
Great job!! Love it!!
I am consistently impressed how quickly your engine fires upon turn of the key.
Awesome truck and awesome job. Keep up the great work. And great videos
Yessir, I've watched your channel from day one. I sure hope you continue with future projects. God Bless. From Arkansas
You’re welcome you just made me feel good about myself so thank you for acknowledging my comment about the antennas thank you sir
Cody Eastep appreciate all feedback and suggestions👌
We can't wait to see it's fully finished look
