Steamed Hams but it's sorted by loudness

Inspired by • Steamed Hams but every... and based on the python script used to generate it. The original steamed hams audio is broken down into half-second chunks, each chunk has it's "human perceptual loudness" (which accounts for frequency) recorded, then the video is cut up to match the audio and they're recombined. I tried a couple different fractions of a second, and this had the most intelligible fragments, but smaller fractions had a smoother and more noticeable increase in loudness over time.
If you want to make your own, I reccomend just downloading the script in the linked video and changing the video concatenation loop into l = np.vstack(weird_vid), otherwise it takes a ton of memory and several hours to run. You'll also want to change 4846 into l.shape[0] in make_frame to generalize it. It'll still take roughly 10 minutes for video of "steamed hams" length, and it'll take longer for smaller fractions of a second.

I was waiting anxiously for that "GOOD LORD".
This is like a TV shows Groundhog Day episode after the character has been through the loop for 30 minutes and had a load of character development and they realise that whatever they try won’t change the outcome so there’s a montage of the loop continuing many more times until the thing that breaks the loop eventually happens at the end of the episode
The loop ends when the super intendent has an unforgettable luncheon...And not a moment sooner.
This is so specific but it fits so well

I have to slightly disagree with the perceptual loudness metric; for example at 0:15 the echo and the guitar notes feel significantly louder than anything neighboring them.
Maybe since it's a purer, more elongated sound, it seems more prevalent, and therefore seemingly louder, when in reality it's placed there correctly?
@@Mini3x3 "perceptual" means "according to human perception", basically equivalent to "seemingly". If it seems louder, a good perceptual metric should indeed say that it is louder.
