I was in Ko Tao when the 2004 Tsunami hit. I got lucky, I changed my travel arrangement last minute before leaving LA. I was supposed to be in Ko Lak to take a dive boat for a week to the Similan Islands. I stayed at the Thipwiman resort. Wow the green scene is off the hook, what a dream. I was in Thailand last year the week they legalized... dammm I wish I was 20 and single again like my first trip to Thailand... sick!!

I started smoking green in 1972 and once I joined the service and traveled to many of these and other places I got to experience different cultures and substances. Hash in Pakistan, green in Africa were some of the best along with the green in Thailand which was HIGHLY illegal when I was there but was easy to get. You're a good dude and I could tell that brownie was catching up with you when you purchased the second brownie...lol Enjoy Bro!

Love Koh Tao! Rilay (in Krabi) is my favourite place in Thailand tho, worth adding to the list if you've not been already. Theres no cars/motorbikes, mecca for climbers, cool wildlife, good viewpoints and their beach "Phranang" is awesome 👌(I always have a few nights there!) Ko Lipe my favorite island, but that was back in 2001 during my honeymoon. Now that place got ruined too developed. Back in the day there was few people, a couple of chill out spots with music and no regular electricity.. it was paradise.. I ended staying there for 2 weeks.. bungalow on the beach for 6usd/day.. I got my scuba open license there.. best diving.. now who knows.
Koh lipe is best island in Thailand bruh beautiful ocean , beaches,coral kind people i been there 3times that it’s totally abt 2months if i have a chance i wanna live in that place like a 2-3years for sure
Hi Chris , you managed to pull out a decent video regardless of that crappy weather . Honestly its not a place to go during rain season , to get stuck in a island with rain and wind. I was surprised you went to the beach and showed the wind storming and seemed to enjoy the crappy weather !!!
September is still the wet season, but it’s luck I have been here in October and we only had a few showers in the evening. What ever the weather you will have a great time and that’s for sure.
