That, and the fact that he can take the piss out of himself (watch his netflix special "Lobby Baby". That's a masterclass in not taking oneself too seriously). AMEN Cindy Oser, So true! I spent yesterday trying to erect a fence around the new garden I'm starting. I got to the point I needed help and had none, so I worked on clearing a junk pile of various metal pieces instead. I found some odd bits that spoke to my inner child, and before I knew it I had assembled an alien creature out of car parts and rusty iron. It's a Rastafarian android, but I haven't figured out if it's male or female yet, depends on what other "parts" I find to add to it. It has absolutely NO purpose whatsoever, except I had fun (and I'm not done with this totally worthless project!) When it's done I'll put him out by the driveway to welcome visitors to the ranch. At least until my goats destroy it. My husband of 15 years HATED my "arts and crap", would call me "useless" when he found evidence that I was being creative. This kind of stuff used to put him in a rage. He left 5 years ago and he's the EX now, so this is therapy for me.
I sooo agree! Our botanical study group has installed 'land art' along our village's walking path, and we update it every year. This week, I built a bird out of wooden fruit crate slats, to be suspended between two trees high above a huge stump, upon which I will color in its shadow. Others are building eggs, nests, and birds of all kinds, including a 7' tall heron to watch over the ancient lavoir. It's a great way to play.

In my opinion when making art the artist is reliving the time of the innocent soul of a child they had at one time- You can block out the entire world in those moments without even trying. Having an open mind and reliving the time as a child when anything was possible is why I do it. 😁 Keep sharing your talents to inspire others-😘

I was just thinking that, too! I wish I could go back to when I was a an art student and change direction. I was told there was no money in being a working artist, the best one could do is become a graphic artist and do commercial work. I spent years drawing logos and diagrams. I usually never comment but these dioramas are amazing-especially the smaller “niche” tech dioramas like the one depicting Jennifer A and Brad P and the paper shredder. Of course Jenny and Amber are always genius!
I find them both endearing and friggin' hilarious! I live for these segments. I really think Amber could be a great host of a Late Night show, but I hope it won't be anytime too soon because I love watching her and Jenny interact with Seth. There's magic there.
I'm glad I'm not in elementary middle school anymore, because after watching this, the standards of dioramas have skyrocketed!!!! I would've just shown my teacher these videos as an excuse to why I didnt complete my diorama assignment.

At first I was disappointed that this wasn't Jokes Seth Can't Tell. However, this was great too.
