I love getting those Warner archive sets you buy it for one movie and you might like the rest. It’s a money saver and a space saver.
Those noir movies are all great classics. Great you picked up Outland and American Graffiti is a lot of fun

I have that version of the French connection on Blu-ray I’m pretty sure that version is out of print, but there’s probably warehouses of copies somewhere
I did not get that much physical media for the month of April so here are some of the highlights
1. I finally got Transformers Rise of Beast on Blue ray from 2023 for a good price at my local used movie store . I had a good time on my second time watching the movie besides seeing it in theaters. Not my favorite pf the transformers films but one of better films in the franchise.
2. Die another Day from 2002 with Peirce Brosnan I enjoy this Bond film even those it's not perfect I still enjoy it. It was the second Bond film I ever saw when I was getting into seeing the James Bond films around 2015 or so. Upgrade from the DVD even those I kept the second disk for the extra special features.
4. I also upgrade my copy of The Legend of The Tarzan from 2016 to Blue ray for a decent price. I really enjoy this film it's fun and enjoyable adventure film with Tarzan and those types of films really don't appeal to me but I was doing a Tarzan marathon last year in the summer because I had some old ones from the 30s and 40s on a public domain DVD set and some of them were not half bad at all.
5. Lastly I got a copy of Spaceballs on DVD from a local thrift store . I seen the movie along time ago on cable I do remember being the one the only Mel brooks spoof movie I really enjoy but I have been in the mood to rewatch it again so can't wait to see it again to see if I enjoy it like I did the first time I saw it.
I want to mention I watch one of those Peter Flak films from that Mill creek collection they release a while ago on streaming lately. The Cheap detective from 1978. It was a decent Peter Falk film not one that I would watch again it's spoof on Casablanca with a crime noir vibe that's all I will say about it.
THX I want to see as well I never seen it. I knew of it. The thing is there’s more than one cut of that movie. There’s the original cut the directors cut. I think there’s one more if I’m not mistaken
Outland, I actually have on Blu-ray Alan of Kermit ghost channel got it for me in a trade I did with him from HMV it comes with a poster and some art cards and a slip box I have to watch that one soon. I’m trying to build up Sean Connery collection.
If you get around to the Bradshaw Ranch title, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on it.
That stigmata releases is beautiful. I really like to get one for my collection and that would be called a digi book not a media book. If it didn’t have the plastic in side then it’s a media book.👍🏻
It really is a nice one! And they're marketing it as a mediabook, which is why I used that term. It's listed that way on DiabolikDVD and Amazon, so I ran with what they were calling it. It's all semantics, though, so either way works for me, lol. Thanks so much for watching, Mike!
Outland is good, it's got some Bladerunner type vibes with evil corporate mining companies and connery get hired as a sheriff of a lawless work camp situation on one of moons of Jupiter. It's another 80s movie that really doesn't feel like the 80s. "Setup" was good, it's boxing movie that dives into the perils of an aging boxer that wants to get out of the business, I was lucky to find a free copy at my local library....
There is a Ju-On: The Grudge Collection from Arrow UK - 6 movies total I am sure I found it on a deal somewhere but something to look out for.
