5 years after seeing these guys lives and opening with this, hearing the whole crowd scream 'in waves' at the start, I can still hear it and feel the sheer amazement and power of the voices! i still get goosepimples listening to it and a massively stupid grin on my face listening to this song. Just saw them at Copenhell festival a few days ago and never heard of them before, but they delivered a hell of a show! They were awesome at working the crowd, getting circlepits up and running etc. Definitely a band I am going to listen a lot to from now on \m/

This album really helped m,e cope with my depression back when i Had it. The days still come when i feel off but thank God ive been more or less cured of it. The songs have their own meanings im sure, but on my first listen through it all had to do with darkness, depression and suicide. And i took one song to heart, to not give up. to Forsake Not; The Dream!

Everytime I listen to it, it takes me back to their live show where they played it as a last song and it was the most fun I've had at any show ever. People were jumping up and down and moving from side to side so it literally felt like being swept away by the tide. There were like three circle pits since the very beginning but during the solo, they morphed into one giantic one that took up the entirety of first ten rows. Absolute fucking mayhem. People on the sides crowdsurfing nonstop. I even saw some kids jumping from the balcony down on the people underneath. If they are about to play in your country and you're hesitating - YOU HAVE TO GO! It's a life changing experience.
Such an excellent song. Great melodies and solos, kickass riffs and breakdowns and perfect composition. Well done.
