'He molded you.' Allah says, 'He created the rest of the skies.' He could have added, 'He created you too.' But He's already said that before; He changed it; He said, 'He molded you.' 'Sawwara' in Arabic is to fashion something, to mold something, to sculpt something, make a sculpture that's perfect and beautiful. He says, Allah Himself says, 'I did a really good job making you!' He Himself is telling us! He takes pride in how beautifully He made us.
You know what the ungrateful says?
'Why am I so fat?'
'Why am I so skinny?'
'Why am I so short?'
'Why am I so...why do I have freckles?'
'Why do I have this? Why do I have that?'
'How come I am not smart like my brother?'
'How come that one's rich and I am poor?'
'How come I don't have this?' and 'How come I don't have that?'
And you know what happens in this society, especially in modern society? And it's happening globally, not just in America. People start getting old; the hair starts going; starts turning grey a little bit, Right? Then you notice, you know...wrinkles on your skin.
And this entire multi-million dollar industry to make sure that you look like you did when you were 20, and you end up looking like a zombie, Right? But they'll put hair implants on you, and they'll stretch your skin for you, and they'll tuck your belly in for you, and they'll do all these things to you, so maybe you can pretend you're still 25.
Allah is saying, 'Accept who you are. I think you're beautiful. Why do you think you're ugly? Why do you have to be so unhappy with yourself?'
He did a beautiful job with you! And molding is not just in the physical sense. Even in our personalities, or capabilities, Allah has given each and every one of us certain strengths, certain abilities, certain talents. He is the One who gave them to us. So when we don't appreciate what we have been given, then we are not appreciating Allah Himself! Because He's the One who gave! Just like when somebody gives you a gift and you don't appreciate it, its disrespect to the one who gave you the gift. All of what we have been given is a gift from Allah ('azza wa jal).
And if you don't recognize that...
'You'll all be going back to Him anyway.'
Whether you take advantage of these gifts or not, they will have to be returned to their original owner. To Him is the final return eventually anyway.
I always think my life would be better if I only looked a little prettier. Even if i catch a glimpse of my reflection my self esteem suddenly drops to the ground. I dont want to be thankless to Allah but these feelings and thoughts won’t go away 😔

In front of Allah swt al Human beings r equal.....That means we all r created equally with the Same CLAY....Know this NO human is a perfect...if u feel u Lack something then know this u r also blessed with something unique......so if u r ignoring ur uniqueness u will.definately Fail in ur Life...So Be Grateful to Allah swt That He Created U....Also never look a person LOWER or SUPERIOR Than u..cuz all r created equally an know this What u can do perfectly He/she cant....so at The end ENJOY ur Life as u r and Be grateful to Allah swt...😇
You might have body dysmorphia disorder
It's a mental health issue and you can see a sicoligest there is nothing wrong with that .
unfortunately, through my childhood, I was treated differently, called ugly and left out because of who I was. to this day as a very young adult, I can tell the same people still think of me like that. although I've met new people growing up and some accept me and take me as their friend, and some just see me as another person

Same here. Even my aunt called me ugly and compared my looks with my cousin. Just so she wants me to get married.
Relatable, honestly sometimes I used to hate myself but beshak Allah is the best creator and alhamdulillah his creation is way more perfect than peoples opinion..Allah's creation is level above our imagination. We all look good in our own way..🙂

The fact that someone is uglier than others cannot be denied. So you cannot say that Allah created everything beautiful. Somethings and some people are not very good looking. But thats the whole deal that someone is rich, someone is poor, someone is strong and someone is week, someone is beautiful and someone is not so beautiful etc. The world is a place of tests and there always be people with differences in both extremes. Its just that if you are ugly, tell your self that thousands of others are too so whats so special about me that I should not be. Allah tests individuals with these things. Concentrate on the beauty of character. A man who is a responsible, reliable characters in your own families appeal more than good looking dumbs. People are quick to make judgements on the character of other by their looks but personally in my experience, that judgement fails all the time when I talk to someone and see whats in their mind. Someone with good intent and character is much more appealing
no if Allah himself says he created everyone beautiful then who are you to say that Allah didn't create everyone beautiful
Beauty is subjective... You may look at that person and say that she/he is ugly while another person think that she/he is beautiful... Allah creates everyone beautiful. It just the matter on how you look at that person

Wow! I suffer from BDD. Just thinking how ungrateful I am. Remember the girl you always wanted but she only liked other guys. So she only likes them for looks! say something happen to him, will she still love him?
How many funerals we go to and the person passed away had big family lots of wealth everything going well! than a illness hits them. The next minute you know he getting buried and you say to yourself I only saw him week ago. The girl who reject me is with someone else happy and I wish her all the best as it’s planned by allah. So if someone don’t love you because of your appearance why have a broken heart?

I get it that we are supposed to worship Allah regardless of what we look like. Life would’ve been much better if marriage wasn’t obligatory because although you’ve gotta be like this whole perfect beautiful woman to be married off. And I’ve seen women cry over on their looks because men refuse to marry them and I’ve thought to myself that people wouldn’t care what they look like if marriage didn’t complete half the deen.

So relationships suffer , or should I say lack of relationships, why have sex when you can stimulate it with electronic media. so the ugly or unhappy look question the gender Gay and LGBT. Islam is clear in this area and so promotion is not the ideology. Statistics show a lot more depression and suicide in this area. Unhappy with your look ??
