- Ever since the show’s 2006 debut, fans have tuned into TLC’s Little People, Big World to watch the trials and joys of the Roloff family - parents Matt and Amy, and their children Zach, Jeremy, Molly, and Jacob. Both parents have dwarfism, but of their four children, only Zach does.
Despite the wishes of fans, some of the Roloff kids have decided as they’ve gotten older that they no longer wish to always have the cameras turned on them, like Jacob and Molly, who have both opted for more private lives.
Let’s take a look at why Molly and Jacob Roloff don’t appear on Little People, Big World anymore.

You could see the dissatisfaction Molly and Jacob had growing up on the show. Good for them. Glad to see they have boundaries since so many on reality tv don’t these days. Not everyone finds reality television great.

It doesn't matter. Their photos are in the shows intro. Technically, they DO appear. So, they get paid.
They appear to say " we are not appearing"....in the mean tie, they get a check.

LPBW has lived out its fame, especially since tgeckuds are out if the house with lives of their own.
I liked what Jacob said at the beginning of thus video, "that family (portrayed on LPBW) us not my family." The show's producers have disguised the show to make it appear as "reality TV," which it is not. They have no call to call any show real when it is as phony as a $3 bill.
Jacob and Molly are absolutely right to wanting privacy with their own lives and their own families.
They only keep running the show because of the "almighty buck!!!"

Good for them!! Now that they're adults they now have the ability to CHOSE to NO longer share their lives with the rest of the world! I could go on and on about my EXTREME DISLIKE of Matt but all I'll say is that as their Dad he should respect their privacy and SHOULDN'T post ANYTHING about them on social media!!! My husband and I always felt as though Jacob was treated like an after thought! Amy obviously completely favored the twins, especially Zach, while the kids were younger. We thought she treated Jacob awfully! Matt favored Molly leaving Jacob to be raised by his Dad's employee!!! No wonder he got the h e double hockey sticks out of there as soon as he graduated!!! I DON'T blame him! I wish both he and Molly the best!!!!

I participated in a show once, a boot camp weight loss type of thing. The production crew totally made up my life, put food in my fridge I would never buy just so I looked like a glutton. Sheesh 🤨

Your explanation of why Jacob left the show is BS. He could not wait to leave that house, going as far to leave before finishing high school. There is something else going on that we don’t know about. No normal person quits high school to move away from their family.
Daniel Kohner Jacob was quite spoiled since He was the youngest. A typical "mama's boy," very obvious in most earlier episodes of the show.

Molly and Jacob, am proud of you guys for being able to step back. To much is put out there on these shows and who wants a scripted life. Think these shows are too much out there. Feel sad for all of you. People want to get addicted to these shows, lives get ruined, you guys can't truely be yourself. Dosen't matter a person's size, we all have issues, don't think they should all be aired publicly. To much hurt and pain.

Molly and especially Jacob were always ignored, and the attention was on Zack too much. Jeremy was pretty much ignored too. In that family you have to be a dwarf to get attention..
But he calls to get that "fake show" money from mom and dad all the time.
He should have made money from his books. His notoriety had likely something to do for getting his books published. You know, all of these shows are planned, and scripted. You sell your soul for the money. I would not do it.

Or, both molly and jacob saw the circus that LPBW would, and has now become, and obviously jeremy saw it but never acted on it until now. I use to like LPBW during its first 5 seasons but its now one page away from turning into an mtv wreckality show. However, in all fairness, they were kids when it aired, and their dad and mom are the ones who made the deal with TLC. Matt Roloff saw bigger plans here: ADVERTISING FOR ROLOFF FARMS.
