In case you're wondering why Geese sounds like the way he does, Geese is pretty infamous for his "Engrish", so they tried to make his VA sound the same as it does in the games.

I think I've said this before, but I have to say it again: I _love_ your editing; both the style and the quality. It's just so well-done. Not just the stuff that's meant to stand out, like the background zoom in the intro, but even the more fundamental stuff?
Like, I'm pretty amateur at video editing so maybe this is easier than I think? But like the example that always jumps out at me is the way you do your sound editing on the DB background track you play during your analysis discussion, so that your transition into the fight flows in perfectly. It's so _seamless_, and it's one of those little touches that I always love in a vid.
I know that sort of stuff is meant to be in the whole category of "if you do it right no one should notice", but I wanted to let you know that I do notice, and in a good way. :P

Oh man, if there was one Tekken matchup that would give my first victory with the series, I am glad that it was with Heihachi since I did lose with Jin when he fought Ryu but hey this is a good episode with my favorite part being when Geese catches Heihachi's fist as the former made a smug grin as the latter knew what was coming next before getting yeeted into the air like even after a year, that is still my favorite moment in this episode.
Next time with Blake VS Mikasa, now this was a matchup that I had been waiting for quite a long time like this was one of my "Oh Shit, They're finally doing it!" moments like even when it was revealed that we were getting an Attack On Titan character on the show during the Season 8 Teaser at the end of Hulk VS Broly, I knew it had to be Mikasa as she was the only character that I knew who has a matchup that fitted for Season 8's theme of matchups with history like the clip at the end of Hulk VS Broly was Annie but it was ironic given that Annie's Japanese Voice Actress is the same actress who has voiced Blake in RWBY so they revealed a character voiced by Blake and from Mikasa's series though it's unknown if this was intentional.
In short, Mikasa is the 4th character out of the teased combatants at the end of Hulk VS Broly after Yoda, Ryuko and Doctor Doom.

This was a fight I've wanted for years and I'm so glad it came out as well as it did. I also really liked how close it was, I know a lot of people were having a hard time determining/predicting the outcome. Next time is not great but still a solid episode. Gave me some appreciation for Blake who is probably my least favorite RWBY character

Ris I’m looking forward to seeing your reaction to Blake vs Mikasa. This episode means so much to me personally. And I apologise in advance because I’m leaving a wall of text talking about some of the lead up to this episode.
RWBY and Attack On Titan are two of my favourite shows, Blake and Mikasa are my favourite characters from both. This was my most wanted fight, for like half a decade at that point. When it was announced, I was more excited for an episode of Death Battle than I’ve ever been. Right after I watched Heihachi vs Geese, I went to bed (because I had to wake up super early for my job at the time), it was one of those sleeps when you’re aware you’re just laying there for 8 hours. I had to work a very physical 10 hour shift. And after all of that, I was still pumped.
I got so many people reaching out to me giving me congratulations. Through Twitter, CZcams, or even in fan art of the fight. It was insane for me.
I also did what might be the best dumb decision ever. So, Luis (Death Battle’s animation director) posted that if Heihachi vs Geese trended (which it did) “you get to eat a Blake vs Mikasa frame :)” So I took that super seriously and got the frame printed onto a cake, which I ate. That got noticed by all the Death Battle crew on social media and it became a whole thing, it was great. Here’s a link to it twitter.com/y0ur0nlymate/status/1385313221364563968?s=21&t=L_cZj7sEx2EL3DwpONCHyw
There’s so much more…. But I’ll wait til after you’ve watched it. When that video comes out, I’ll leave another text wall explaining why it’s my favourite episode in the entire series.

I've stopped doing "hey guys" because I'm trying to be more gender neutral in my language. As for the "cue outro go," while it'll always hold a special place in my heart, I've come to like the transition better without it.

Tekken means iron fist in japanese, also the part with Heihachi coming back magically in next game is a joke in the community, cuz each time he "dies" he proves he didnt, but he died for good in the last game

Im gonna fill in some details and/or correct where Death Battle got some information wrong on Heihachi for Ris as he doesnt play fighting games. If anybody hasnt played the games yet and are interested in getting into the story of Tekken I would suggest you not read. This comment will contain SPOILERS so you have been warned. Plus it always bothered me on how they got some information wrong with Tekken (like calling Lee his illegitimate son in one of there past videos when he is actually adoptive. His illegitimate son is Lars since he is Heihachi's son, but isnt born in the main family, being Kazuya's half brother).
Heihachi did lock his father up, but he meant to get him out eventually. Hehachi somehow managed to forget he locked Jinpachi up and thats how he died. The devil gene somehow manifested within him and revived Jinpachi which was why he eventually came out of nowhere in Tekken 5. As for his late wife Kazumi, Heihachi didnt just murder Kazumi, he murdered her in self defense and she wasnt possessed either. Her intention was to infiltrate the Mishima Estate and get close to Heihachi to kill him as she said in the game, because thats what her family does. They are devils who's sole reason for living is to rid the world of people like Heihachi. The cutscene where Heihachi blocks the beam from the somehow OTHER Kazuya isnt canon at all. He literally dies in that ending which don't make sense as he's in every game alive and well up to seven. Also Heihachi coming out of lava has never happened. If we are referring to the scene where we see Kazuya throwing him into a volcano Heihachi was dead by that point before that happened. He is confirmed dead too now. He is at least bound to come back in some way. My guess is, as a flashback character similar to Kliff in Guilty Gear.

Remember the guy who spoiled the previous episode because he thought it was one-sided and a waste of an episode? I disagree, I think Luthor vs Doom is heavily debatable. The next episode though, I think the next episode is indeed one-sided and had an obvious winner. Not gonna spoil it, I'm happy for people who wanted Blake vs Mikasa, but I personally think there's no way the loser could've won, and that's a shame.
