Upgrading Original Hornby DC controlled HST Class 43 Lighting to LED's

Here i show how to convert/upgrade the lighting on a Hornby DC powered HST Class 43 power & dummy car from an incandescent bulb to LED.
This covert/upgrade improves the illumination of the lighting and also allows for red tail lights at the rear of the set.

These lighting boards offer an ideal way to upgrade the lights on your Hornby HST's. They are suitable for both DC systems and those which have been upgraded to DCC. They offer automatic switching between Red and White light based on the direction of travel.
There are two versions, 'Pure White' uses standard white LED's to give a 'modern' look. The version using 'warm white' LED's gives an older-style more yellow-white light.
