Its been so hard to find videos for bağlama saz in english 😅 i speak some Turkish, but I cannot keep up with the lesson videos and books I've found online. I have a cura saz, so a short neck, and have it tuned to CGD and have just been trying to mess around with it. So far I love it, but i dont quite understand it yet 😅 anyway thanks for sharing this, its a dope ass tune!!

A very CATCHY and easy to learn song. I love hearing this repeat, a exciting rhythm from start to finish. Dont forget your fishing. :-)

hey have you ever experimented witht fret position? I want to modify a (possibly short neck) saz, including adding more microtones, and you are the first guy that I can understand freely, so yeah…
Uh another thing, I have seen your introduction video on baglama, where you talked about people addressing (rudly) your playing style as not turkish bla, bla, bla
Well I started with the turkish method, and so far I find it a little deppressing, I mean it is fun to play with, and within the traditional tuning effective, but I am considering using a different tuning on my kιsa sap, so I was wondering if you just play with your fingers on all three bundles, and only use your thumb on accords? -> Is that a valid method? (I never played any other string instrument but the baglama, and even that just for a year)
hope you have a not so boring time in isolation (wow if that is the new byem, then this year will suck)

Sorry for the late reply, sometimes i miss the comment notifications.
I have not messed around too much with changing the fret positions as it just makes it more confusing to learn if I make changes like that.
By all means you can play with fingers and not with a plectrum, or a guitar pick if you want. It may not be the most traditional method, but who cares. If it sounds good and works for you, no need to listen to some narrow minded purist who was told one way to do it and gets offended or afraid of any other way. - Good example is check out King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, he has an electric guitar with a Baglama oriented fret board, and makes some incredible music with it. - I am actually loving the isolation, gives me lots of time I always needed (and still feel like I could use more) to be creative, learn and do what I enjoy doing.
