I dunno.... Atreides have the strongest military units (they synergise the best) and you do not really pillage the villages anyway.... The weakest military is (acording to me) surprisingly the Harkonnen..... they are more about disposable units than strong units and ploting murder of course.....

The most annoying part of that game was that the AI would rebuild it's structures always in the same places. Without caring about any of the usual rules and often killing your units by doing so.
Always happy to see more Dune. though i gotta ask. are you aware that Auto Recall on harvesters actually reduces how much spice they make or do you just consider it worth it?
personally. it costs to much to replace both the Harvester and it's Crew, Each time you lose a Harvester because some thing else was going on. or you were not paying attenches enough. Both you can also get like 4+ crew per harvester for some factions. So it costs a lot. and also it costs you spice for the time it takes for you to notics the harvester is not harvesting and for the time spent rebuilding it. insted of just letting the air crew take the harvetser on thier own. with no command needed by you.

I feel like you should absolutely do conquest next in my humble opinion! also you can gain exp from the town ifaik cause you can still attack and kill the militia without pillaging or seizing
Glad Pravus is having fun, but damn this still feels like a pale shadow of better games. Less than the sum of its parts. Good example being when he compared the houses, saying there wasnt that much difference to affect build order. That. That summarizes a bunch of this game. It all feels like a samey, bland balls. Does have some cool bits, simply lands...meh.

I do believe they represent the more sinister factions of Dune Lore - like the Bene Tleilax or the Ixians... Or were just invented, so you have a good stone/paper/scissor setup with three enemies.

Fremen aren’t available in conquest. They are an NPC for now.

I do adore Pravus’ bloodlust and… uh… aggressive play style and how it utterly conflicts with the Atredies play style.

I'm a boomer, does anyone remember the dune game from the 90's that was an rts where you had to harvest spice in the middle of the battlefield?
Either Dune II or Dune 2000 (remake of Dune II). Great games. I've mostly played the later Emperor: Battle for Dune though.

In the story, people don't know about the relationship between the worms and the spice so your comment at 15:30 makes sense.
The Fremen and the Bene Geserit knew. And then Paul learned through them.
Leto Jr. actually destroyed all the worms except for 1: himself.

You don't need to pillage, just go and attack neutral villages - as killing their militia still gives EXP to your units ;)
