- in this video i build a cnc machine
with 2.2kw water cooled spindle
drill head and next video also 40w lazer 5w optic
it is driven by mach 3
and the motherboard is a pokeys57cnc
everything is driven by nema 23 stepper motors
and ball screws for x and y
lead screws for z axis
work surface is 1m40 by 1m40

what's the point of the washers between the rail and extrusion?
i used blind rivet nuts these were sticking out a little and to enlarge the support surface a little I put a washer between the hgr rail
Why two spindles?. Also why drill bits, won’t an up cut bit do the same action a drill would?.
I still have to learn all that, but I don't mind having an extra mini spindle. I don't sacrifice that much space and I can also put a V router in there. is going to come in handy somehow
@@fredraket essentially a two head, that can replace an ATC to a decent degree, not bad at all, just use offsets when you program your gcodes.
