Patience is the key, cement work takes time I sculpt with cement too its not 123 instant.
@@DOI_ARTS that’s true! I work with FRP and was playing around with cement and I don’t have patience for it. Fiberglass I can control a lot better.

Great job. I have an idea for anyone who wants to recreate this: Hook up a raspberry-pi or Arduino to control the LED's so that you can synchronize the lights with the phases of the moon in real time.

It would be awesome if you had addressable LEDs, so that you could programm an arduino or raspi and activate them only partially. Then you could imitate the lunar cycle and even sync it with the real one.

Hi, i did not use cement but plaser glueyou can do it with waterver you want. my planet is white but i can paint it after if i want. I can do a picture if you want. @@user-id4vm8ni3y

I seen this video a while back and created one using mdf fiber board, green stuff (puddy for table top miniature gaming), painted the moon and use rbg lighting covered by wax baking paper (to dim down the light hot spots).
This man is very talented and has a great mind for masonry.

Bro this is cool. Lol. It’s crazy how I found this video. I was literally thinking about space and galaxy and moon. I love to create things with my skills. Stuff like this makes me feel proud of my work in Construction field.
I don't have cement, but with a little ingenuity I think I could recreate it with pancakes. Shape it while taking into account the swelling after baking, and decorate the area with LEDs after baking😋

Looks great! I wonder what the water to concrete ratio is with this. Also, how large is the largest grain of the sand/silt you use to create your concrete? To achieve this consistency it's gotta be 1mm or smaller, right?
2 parts Portland cement and 1 part fine sand less than 1 mm
