The Sharp AQUOS R6 is a smartphone that features a 1-inch camera sensor. It also has a 6.6-inch, 2,730 x 1,260 HDR screen with a brightness of 2,000 nits. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 888 5G processor and has 12GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It also has a 5,000 mAh battery.
The camera features a gigantic 1-inch image sensor that captures DSLR quality photos, while under the display, it packs the Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max - our largest (20x30mm2) fingerprint sensor based on ultrasonic technology. The Sharp AQUOS R6 is the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max technology.

Sharp Aquos R8 and R8 Pro
Sharp Aquos R7 upgrades the processor to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
The display is a similar 6.6" OLED with 240Hz ultra fast refresh rate, however is now flat instead of curved. The camera is again collaborated with Leica, with an upgraded 47MP main that uses a 1” sized sensor.
The R8 further upgrades the processor to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

I'm interested in this phone to be used with Moonlight/Sunshine because of 240Hz VRR. But I don't know if you can get it to 240hz properly.
They are now on android 13 on the aquous r6 with much improvement in the camera department and fluidity

Thank brother, I really like this phone and Iam planning to buy it though Iam not so sure of how it will hold up performance wise, And few people actually have covered it here to on CZcams. I request you make a performance test video, mostly Iam interested in the 3D mark wildlife extreme test a 3 times 20 minutes Back to back stability test would be fabulous, it would show the true stability of the phone and the final score will be really helpful. I humbly request you do, actually even if you don't bother with the video a reply of the results to me would be fine with me.😊

What do you think is the best telephoto lens (and software) in a flagship of this era?
hmm specifically just for telephoto optical zoom, within the same gen Android phones (2021), that would likely have to be the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. It's a more popular/mainstream device, but the 10x telephoto lens (which can reach 100x with hybrid/digital) is still impressive. Samsung's software is also pretty polished. Other choices might be Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (5x telephoto, generally good software as well) and the Google Pixel 6 Pro (4x telephoto, great software). but idk if I'm missing anything else...seems like maybe more choices are available in 2022/23 phones but those are newer gen & more expensive :)

If you get a sharp phone only get sim free otherwise you will need a SIM card to update

There are Japanese store online that sells Japanese sims... Not exactly. It's just a duplicate that makes smartphones think that it has a Japanese (carrier) sim inside. Kinda hassle if you think about it.
