- The Rolls-Royce Spectre is their first fully electric vehicle, and it's making some big impressions already in the automotive industry! In this week's Urban Uncut, Si and Lenny are invited to @hrowen's flagship London showroom to see their first Spectre in person, after taking a luxurious drive down in our own Cullinan. While Lenny enjoys the opulence of the specification room, Si talks through his plans for potential modifications.

To be honest, the front especially the lights of the Spectre are awful. Don’t like the wheels either. So, plenty of opportunities for Simon and guys to work with and get it right 😁

The Spectre is a true Rolls Royce elegant and luxury from top to bottom inside and out and the Urban touch here and there will finish it off nicely it really is a beautiful looking car they have done a amazing job 👌🏻

That was one of the Goodwood cars, in fact the nicest one. Loved the wood on the doors , think it looked better than the starlight . Absolutely stunning , makes a purosangue look like a cheap Korean interior
Spectre looks amazing - it’s going to take a very special set of upgrades of very high quality to trump the standard car. Good Luck boys

IMO I think the Spectre is best left alone, it’s a stunning car and doesn’t need modification.
It’s got to have some bad ass batteries to drag 2.9 tonnes around the roads plus all the extra electrical features it has!

Spectre is stunning especially in that colour, despite it being electric. IMO just needs some subtle tweaks here and there, can’t see it being bought outside London tho

The spectre is a stunning car,rolls royce are absolutely smashing it these days.I’m tempted to say go crazy on it & do what you do best,which is make a nice car look a million times better,but not sure that would work on the spectre even though you’ve killed it with the cullinan.Whatever you guys choose I’m pretty certain it’ll look amazing.Keep up the fantastic content,you’re killing it.
It most definitely needs the urban touch to make it next level.
Honestly, my husband and I think you should enhance the outlook, wide body kit and just make it more magnificent

I love cars, motorbikes and watching Urban. I got my first electric car last year (bmw i4 m50) and would never go back to ICE cars, I still love ice but I keep that passion for my motorbikes.
My part of UK has flooded roads tonight. I am glad that I do not drive a BMW EV. I would not be getting home through that water
That doesn’t make sense! Water through an engine vs water over a sealed battery pack!
@@jimpackard8059 I don’t see any difference to be fair I have driven my ev through floods and fords with no issues. Obviously I wouldn’t attempt something that would risk flooding the car, but that would be no different than an ice car. Hope the weather calms down soon, it looked really bad on the news.

Anything can be modified these days as long as it makes sense and enhances from the original.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre looks amazing all you need to do are a few tweaks to enhance the appearance. Love the Urban Cullinan

Just the odd adornment to the Spectre to make it slightly more aggressive but not taking away it current look.
EV’s has reached its peak and can see it nose diving for 5 years. The infrastructure needs to catch up before another boom in sales.
Modify it lenny and the lads I mean it does deserve a front splitter, rear diffuser, wide arch extensions , rear boot lip and 23 inch wheels all dressed to make it a proper mean looking rolls!

As for the Spectre, subtle would be best.
Enhance. With the wheels , simplify the RR design , instead of 7. Spoke put six with an extra slat and instead of silver highlights, met grey on black . The cullinan facelift apparently will be a big change. Saw you at Goodwood, the RR suit was the best thing there, amazing 😊

Just da wheels & a black grill, would look nice, maybe carbon side skirts and a diffuser. Leave the rest to fruition. 1/2 miL is not short change. 😂❤
Definitely needs better wheels. Doesn’t need a splitter but look sick with wide arches and a gentle curve on the rear like a wave before it breaks. Specter means something widely feared as a possible unpleasant or dangerous occurrence. 😂😂

I suggest you put the Spectre in CAD and have fun with options - go radical and see what it looks like. Subtle is good but the Cullinan is not subtle and is amazing so be brave!

I believe electric cars still are the future, even though a lot of people still believe they are not. I also think the electric market needed a bit of major dip because some of the new car prices was crazy & the average person couldn’t afford them.
Regarding the spectre, it 100% needs an urban bumper I think. You could have that look even more beautiful, can not wait to see - I still wish you’d do an urban kit for my Taycan though 😂
I live in UK east coast and today we have storms and flooding. If you own an EV and you want to go through the flooded roads…….you ain’t getting home tonight

Spectre Looks nice, I’m not keen on Electric cars. I think Simon and the team should create there own new bumper for the Spectre, defo think it would b worth the hassle creating an Urban custom kit and Wheels for a one of car that is the Spectre….. Keep up the great work guys!! 👊🏻😉👍🏻

what about improving its aero cx so it can achieve even better range? for example aerodisc type wheels
Drivers inside the M25 are nuts. If you think it's bad in a cullinan, try it in an artic with a manual box.
RR alloys letters.on the alloy. Maybe mirrored, definitely RR mirrored.
The Spectre needs floating alloys.
The mirrored RR could be full size so the curves of the R's are the chrome edge of the alloy.
Centre of the alloys painted same colour as car.
Just do a design of both ideas and then let us vote for one

I wouldn't really bother much with eV myself, I can't see them sticking round for good especially with porsche devoping zero emmision fuel for combustion engines
The single burning question is will the new design for the Spectre kit feature the Urban “Scollop” 😅

A silly thought here; since the Spectre is an EV and better aerodynamics improves range, maybe we could see some wind tunnel action feeding into the kit design?
The only issue here is the cost of wind tunnel too manufacture is absolutely crazy & will customers justify it? Not really

Heard that people are cancelling their Spectre's, if you're rich do you want range anxiety, NO. Should have been a hybrid and smaller. In the UK there the F... are you going to park that or turn. Cullinan should be the longest at 5.3, beside the chauffeur driven Phantom. Sad

First up….hate electric! Also dislike the futuristic wheels and think you can do Urban (more solid) ones. Also think it needs subtle refining and not the full aggressive look…………think elegance with power 🤔

Needs new bumpers definitely! And i hate that it’s EV, i feel like they went the cheaper route and ditched the V12, the V12 is luxury. Them making it an EV will make it have the same characteristics of any EV. Not a fan at all, stick a V12 and yes

Spectre is sophisticated, classy, one of the best looking cars of recent times, it’s elegant. What you’ve done with the Cully is take one of the ugliest cars ever designed and made it slightly more acceptable, a little easier on the eye. With the Spectre, improving on perfection will be hard, a slight enhancement here and there maybe but less will be more.

enhance it - people are buying it for the aesthetic of the car. they are going to want to keep the fundamentals of it with it just be ever so slightly modified (TASTEFULLY).

Why on earth would you want to modify a Spectre? Some car’s should be left alone. There’s no way I would spend that much on a car and get it modified by anyone other than the manufacturer. If I could afford it of course 😊.
Leave the Spectre alone. 100%. Concentrate on the Grenadier - when can we see what you’ve done to it?

I’ve worked on EV cars for 10 years now. Im afraid the market will be horrible for them. They will become like phones, need to get the new new when it comes out and nobody will want a two, three or four year old car with older tech. I’ve been saying it for years these cars are way worse for the environment with what it takes to make them and then batteries are needing to be replaced around 80k due to deteriorating range. Then the added weight of the heavier cars tears up the roads quicker. They look flashy and have great torque but in the long run they are a losing option.
There's ripples in the wings the bodywork was terrible even Rolls-Royce has lowered it's standards

The Spectre is a dogs dinner.
The front is purely pandering to the Chinese market ( aka BMW I8). The light design is goping, the grill, too shallow, the rear is just bloated.
It's Jabba the hut on wheels.
And those wheels...forgettable.
I've seen it in the flesh, it's a mess.
What a monumental waste of a beautiful car.
