@@Lunaa22lovegood_stanstuff Just watch the majority of natlan characters being white ASF 💀 The pyro archon and at least 6 characters need/should at least be dark skinned or have the same skin color as Kaeya. Also I have a theory,the reason hoyo hasn't made natlan the hot war hell place it is supposed to be,is bc it's all an excuse for them to use it as a cover up for not giving characters the right dark skin colors. So now everyone is gonna be like "oh but natlan isn't as hot as people imagined it,so that's why we won't get a lot of dark colored natlan characters" I can already see genshin simps using that as a big excuse and then they're gonna say it's "lore accurate" when it's not. Hoyo just stop being fcking racist and give us more diversity and equality. Cause it's disappointing how no one is calling out hoyo for being hella racist,bc a lot of fans are covering it up and defending hoyo like their lives depends on them and we all know that it's racist people who LOVE supporting other racist people,companies and things.
Still saving for Columbina if she comes out, however I'll consider dendro boy and shark surfing girl after if their trial runs end up being fun for me like how Navia was (wasn't going to pull for her initially but the gunbrella and cannon summons won me over). The new skins look gorgeous, and although I still like Kirara's Inazuma outfit more, this new one looks cute as well. It's a personal thing but I've seen fanart done of the Goddess of Flowers (interpretations of fans ofc) having this veil on the lower half of her face so I kinda wanted to see what it looks like if Nilou had something like that, then again I have no idea if that detail has significance in the culture it's based off of so I'm fine either way.
Hope the new summer event is as magical as the Remuria quest or as comfy as Veluriyam Mirage was for me (I still hum the soundtracks for both areas unconsciously at times).

Pulling for Emilie because I think burning teams have a ton of potential in natlan and I already like playing with Kazuha + thoma. I do wish her kit was a bit more unique and offered more outside dendro app and damage. But I think her animations look good, she seems like a strong character in her niche, and I like her design a lot
The new natlan characters look fine but i'm mostly waiting for the pyro archon at the moment because archons are a safe bet for power and fun for the most part

It could be but none of the data miners called her Iansan. They just said Geo girl. For more info we need to wait for a week or two.

I’m hyped for emilie, her voice reveal made me happy, she sounds so cute
I'm definitely in the minority, but i love that natlan isn't blood red and what a child interprets dark themes as, no offense to the hypothetical child lol. Just like fontaine i can only guess how dark the story will be, contrasting how bright and lighthearted everything seems on the surface. Good for storytelling as a wannabe artist/writer, but if natlan fundamentally changed after the archon quests that be even better. Then again no nation has changed that drastically asides from voice lines and whatnot, but physical effects and alterations to the land and main city would be sick. Character designs are cool too, not sure why people think they're childish, but i can see a little bit of "pokemon trainer" vibes in the two taller characters. Moreso the shark girl. Music sounds great though, as always, but i am imaginating bangers like Sumeru. Just my opinion but middle eastern + south asian and mesoamerican + west african music are always so good. Traditonal music in general is great, all around the world. Like seeing it in video games.
The only thing I'm not that interested in is the pokemon aspect. I know imagination and actual products hardly ever line up especially with the unique preferences of people, but i was still hoping for actual dragons. Maybe not like apep or dvalin but still bigger than the people, not tiny pokemons. In general pokemon only does well when it's done by Pokemon, not inspired by and put into other games. I get it's popular but if i really wanted something like Pokemon I'd, i dunno, play Yu-Gi-Oh or something. I just hope it's part of the world of natlan, and not the archon quests.

I found it all to be kinda disappointing. It's just not living up to the hype. I imagine the systems/mechanics will be interesting but the teaser and this trailer are pretty mid imo. Nowhere near as interesting as Sumeru or Fontaine.
I am looking forward to the skins and events to earn primos. The skins are nice. 👍
