I was learning data analytics, but now I want to move into data engineering. I don't have a STEM degree, but I can work on projects. I hope they can help me get a foot in the door. Could you tell me what all skills I could transfer when moving from DA -> DE ?
@@vivekjoshi3769 since you are not from tech background getting a job might be difficult. Especially since data field is so popular, competition is also heavy. I recommend taking some online courses with placemnt assistance

The salary quoted here is faaaaar too low compared to what we get in California, USA. I suppose he is talking in terms of Pounds. 50k Pounds = 60k USD. I mean even the tier 3 companies provide more package for entry level jobs here. Tier 1 Data Engineer in California will make 200k USD easily, plus the perks(additional). I am surprised to see the UK Data Engineer package here.

Hi Freddy you are in one of the most aspiring professions, I am no expert in your field but data and numbers are everywhere and more so in finance so in my view you should definetely learn data analytics. This would also help you understand your client needs, feedbacks and behaviour better
