Best way to teach kids is that father speaks all the time english, and mom speaks ALL the time german to the kids. That vlog helps me to learn german. ThanksQ!

As an American who lived in Germany for 8 years I'm really impressed how much you German you understand. It took me years to learn German living IN Germany.. not an easy language!

It was such a cool and beautiful video and I find it so nice to see James trying to learn new things. For me as a German, it is so nice to see someone trying to learn our language even though it is very difficult. In addition, I wanted to ask if you can make a video where you speak Jasmin German and James also tries to go through a whole day or so. Find yourselves mega sweet together.

This is first video I’ve seen of Jasmin and James and I never would have thought that their voices sound like this p! I love their accents and how James says things like: ‘scratchiest’ for lottery tickets or how Jasmin’s name is pronounced Yasmin❤❤

A tip just in case you don't know about raising your kids to know both languages is when you're talking to them from the day they're born one of you only use German in one of you only use English and then you can obviously talk to each other both languages but that way that helps them compartmentalize better and like learn them both separately yet also together and yeah that's something I learned because my mom told me she was learning to be an interpreter a while back and that was something that she learned.
