(4K) Beautiful approach to Sydney |TRIP REPORT| Hawaiian HA451 Oahu to Sydney Airbus A330-200

- Flew back to Sydney in Nov 2022 on Hawaiian Airlines connecting at Honolulu from Oakland. The stressful part of this journey was not the flight but the transit/layover at Honolulu. The previous flight from Oakland was a little late arriving at Terminal A. However, the departing flight from Honolulu to Sydney was Terminal C which was a long walk. By the time I arrived at gate C6, boarding was nearly finishing up. Once on the plane, the flight was fairly uneventful just like my previous flight in Sept 2022. Stay till the end of the video for a beautiful evening approach into Sydney Airport! Sydney is such a beautiful city!

Thanks for watching! Indeed videos of HA to SYD are rare. Also excited to try out their dreamliner as well but I'll miss the 2-4-2 config of the A330s.

I flew Cathay Pacific airbus a350 from sfo to Hong Kong six years ago. No delays, but understand delays can happen with any airline. Usually, delays are more of a problem with the airport, not the airline itself.

Great video. I have never seen the amazing amenity kit that Hawaiian Airlines offers in Economy/Premium Economy class. Even on long-haul flights operating either from USA-based or Middle Eastern carriers, these carriers don’t offer these amazing kits.

I did this flight with Jetstar. Kind of weird to do a long haul in a wide body with a low cost airliner.

Is your flight to Sydney 80 to almost full, how is the meal, how many hours did you sleep on the plane, if so, how many hours and how much did you pay to fly Hawaiian airlines to Sydney, is that round trip?
The flight was probably 95% full. I did not book a roundtrip ticket for this flight, this is a one way ticket on HA.

Do you fly Hawaiian airlines to Sydney every year and do you sleep on the plane or you don't sleep on the plane?
I do not normally use HA, only when the airfare is cheaper than the nonstops will I use HA. For this flight it was a day flight and so I did not sleep on the plane.
