Hewick looked dead and buried 8 fences out. Frodon and Shishkin seemed to set a real searching gallop from the start - the field was off the bit on a long way out. Have to think that Shishkin would have prevailed (imo) had he not slipped but immense credit to the Hewick team. He will pose a serious threat at the Gold Cup.
Reminded me of Davy Russell on lord windermere in d gold cup but we'll done shark Hanlon and gavin sheeran what a great ride kept him sweet all d way❤❤
I won't lieI had Hewick each way bet, And I was honestly hoping for him to even place with like 4 fences to go, insane how far he came back from to win and a little luck with Shiskin unseating his jockey.
That was developing into some race and then what drama Shishkins bad step ruined chances and didnt do leaders no favours but that was some ride by Gavin
