I don't think so. I don't think they would make an actual film where actual murder scenes take part. As we can see at the end of this trailer, it's gonna be a happy ending, and probably no Springlock scene.

i know some people expected a lot of agression from the animatronics but i love what they have done with them here. they have ghost of children inside them and the animatronics dont really hurt the night guard until the night guard tried to hurt them. that castle making scene also pays homage to the fact that they are kids on the inside and they don't wanna harm anybody. they are just playing.

The lore is correct, the director and the production studio are good and they're including big names from the FNAF CZcams scene. Definitely not perfect but it's not going to "suck ass"

I have an art teacher who once worked with Scott Cawthon before he made FNAF. Scott was gonna venture into other careers and then brought this gem of a franchise to life. Hope this film delivers well upon his legacy!

Watching this trailer doesn’t feel the same anymore. I hate it when I get those post-event blues. This movie has been such a hype! These past 7 months of waiting for this movie to come out have been so much fun, but now after finally watching the movie, I feel so empty. I don’t even feel like rewatching the trailers because it won’t feel the same anymore, and it’ll just make my sadness worse because I already know what’s going on, so it isn’t exciting anymore (I know I am literally commenting in the official trailer for it, but I didn’t actually watch it, I just saw the last bit on mute and now I’m commenting). I have been waiting for this movie since 2015, and when the trailers came out, it looked very promising. Lots of hype and expectations, but then, I watched the movie and... I was extremely disappointed. How could they butcher it so badly?

I actually enjoyed this movie. Never seeing or knowing anything about the background behind Five nights actually made it a better experience. I didn’t need it to be true to the “video games or tv series,” (still don’t know what it is) but this movie didn’t need gore/violence/sexual content/activity and it still was a Great 10/10 movie! Had me hanging on the entire film! Hope theirs a part 2-5 series with same director/actors!
Even though FNAF’s lore can be complicated, let’s all agree that Cory’s cameo could actually be one of the biggest plot points the lore has ever given us and actually makes sense.

literally just left the theatres and h this brought out my inner child. I used to love the games and would beg my parents to take me to chuck e cheese since it was something that reminded me of fnaf. I know it wasn’t lore accurate but it was amazing nonetheless.
I'll be honest, this doesn't look horribly creepy or even that scary HOWEVER it still looks like it's going to be a really fun and enjoyable watch. Can't wait to see it!

The fact that Blumhouse brought in Scott Cawthon to write the story and help with the screenplay is a MAJOR W. So many movies with lots of potential have been ruined by directors and writers who don't know anything about the source material. This doesn't seem to be one of those instances at all. So excited to see this on the big screen!!

We saw this with the Mario Movie too, with Shigeru Miyamoto being heavily involved with production and giving us an actually faithful adaptation of the games. When he hung up, a little later there was a HUGE OPPRESSIVE FORCE. There was this maddening music and they called themselves 'THE TREE TRUNKS'. He called the next day and I started humming the maddening song. HE EXPLODED in uncontrollable laughter!!!!
I hope it’s not too cheesy. The fnaf games were honestly really scary, and the plot behind it was really interesting and in depth. I always said the fnaf games had a lot of potential on the big screen if done right, just hope it delivers

Well, it was how i expected it to be... the best fucking shit ever. Basically i felt like a child again the entire time watching the movie. Even tho, it wasn t the scarriest movie ever, this movie managed to get me back to the feelings i had while playing the games back in time. It’s so crazy to see how some random game developer and some small CZcams content creator from 2014 have both made greatness and have risen eachother to fame. I’m a huge fan of Cory and a huge fan of the fnaf franchise. It nearly brings a tear to my eye knowing that I used to watch Cory when I was young and watch gameplays of this game as a young kid. Being only casually familiar with the lore, I still thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It's a great horror-thriller film by itself.

Had a nightmare about this movie I never saw and I only played the game once years ago. I played it in a public gaming lounge and screamed out loud, getting stares from everyone. I was so embarrassed, I couldn’t bring myself to touch the game again.
I hope Scott makes a voice message for the guard just like in the games. I have a feeling that this is going to be an outstanding video game adaptation!
Im really glad Scott is writing the script as well, i wouldn’t have any one else making up the story

It's amazing how far Scott and the franchise has come. In less than a decade, a movie was born from such a simple yet terrifying indie game, and you can really tell how much love went into this. They have come so far and deserve it all. I'm so happy that Scott even gave a little bit of credit to the youtubers that always played all the amazing games he made.

Just got home saw it at readings it was pure joy to see a movie that wasn't pushing the message . I never played the game but the movie was awesome well put together great acting and scary enough for me 9/ 10

I was a 10 year old kid when FNAF was first released and I loved it. The first time a horror game interested me as a young kid. I remember the times with my older brother and younger me watching youtubers playing the game on youtube and how my classmates/friends would talk about FNAF in elementary school 4th grade back then. I am now 19 years old and will definitely watch the upcoming movie itself. And honestly, I just find it "awesome" to know and see kids of today's generation getting into Five Nights at Freddy's, just as we older people did as kids back then.

I’m so happy to see Cory in this. Thanks to FNAF his career became what is it now. He’s touched so many people and inspired millions and then some. It’s amazing to see the community giving Cory a well deserved place in the film.

A lot of people have been arguing about wether Cory really deserved the role. Some say it should be markiplier, which I totally understand, considering Cory isn’t the only one to stream FNAF and make the fan base what it is now, however, we must understand that this is a very subjective opinion that varies from person to person, so we shouldn’t bother finding the right answer, because there isn’t one. No matter who truly deserved it, the movie will still be a banger and I can’t wait to see it!!

This already sounds like my type of movie! It is beyond rare that I align with the critics these days.
Loved the ending and they were able to change a LOT of the lore while still being able to make it so fans would STILL WATCH IT AND NOT NOT LIKE IT honestly 10/10
