It's the morning after Sonic and Tails met, and Sonic has made the decision for the two to be brothers. But to make such a change is not as simple as that, as Tails still suffers heavily from the trauma of the past few months of his life. In this timeline tails is treated as a lonely scared child. We never see stuff like this in mainline sonic. This truly sets up a true form for sonic and tails friendship

It sounds like Tails suffers with deep PTSD from being left alone before he met Sonic and people thinking he was “different” and bullied him for having two tails
I don't know if you saw the first episode but he's only 2 years old here, he doesn't remember his parents, got bullied by 3 others/tied to a flagpole/got a bloody nose in the first episode, didn't have a home, and was never given any form of love from the moment he was born.
So Tails having so much PTSD from feeling abandoned makes a lot of sense. Going 2 years without anyone loving you does a lot to a person let alone such a young child.
@@GamerBot125 You got only two parts of that wrong. Tails does remember his parents and he has been shown love before (by his parents). In Episode 2 Tails says that his parents would kiss him goodnight when they were still alive.

Edit: I feel bad for Tails when he was home alone, especially when he started having flashbacks of all those bullies calling him a freak, having to go through so many emotions alone. I also felt bad when Sonic came back, and Tails was hiding from Sonic. This episode was so heartwarming, and I feel it gave us more of a perspective of Tails. I hope there will potentially be an episode 4 of this series. Already imagining what might happen if there is an episode 4.
