I'm so glad I completely avoided this cup. It's crazy how many players you went against all using Smeargle, Maril, and Bronzor, but it was joyful to see you winning so consistently with your non-XL team. Awesome job!

I dont really mind Catch Cup, I think the concept of it is good, but we should have Catch Cup (LC or GL) and Open GL or UL. That way I think people will be more interested in try non-meta pokemon in Catch Cup. I have been "enjoying" CC, i changed my team, Shadow Gligar lead, Umbreon and Tapu Fini in the back, i was able to get a Fini under 1500cp and wanted to use it, once again, the lag didn't let me enjoy the battles, but the team was fun to use.

@@taffystarI just realized all my shadow mudboys are with frustration so GL catch cup it is... problem is the only thing I'm able to run without wasted investments is Aurorus, Skekedirge and Incineroar.... which is an insanely bad team comp in the meta, but somehow I'm going positive taffy and I have no idea why, I might be onto something there, Aurorus lead is catching a lot of good leads, maybe the legendary algorithm is on my side out of pity, but it does seem like Aurorus in a similar spot to ASandslash, you keep it out of fighting types and it actually cooks, and if the water type is Mantine or even a shadow mudboy, it still puts in work or wins, maybe try it out.

It's so rare to get a flying press smeargle. You can only get 1 smeargle a day. And flying press is 1 in 100+ moves. And the season lasts 90 days. So very very low chances of getting one within the season.

you're missing already having one smeargle with that moveset and photographing it next season just for ivs and candy
Yeah, once you get the first smeargle with flying press, you reroll that ameargle over and over until you get the hundo.
