Celebrating the milestones of womenhood is one of the most significant highlights of Tamil Hindu traditions. Manjal Neerattu Vizha is a traditional ceremony for women that marks the beginning of puberty. Documenting the precious day of Ananda Sasmita was nothing less than a dream for us, to have witnessed one of the most priceless traditional rituals in Tamil Nadu, that celebrates women.
From interesting ceremonial rituals that are primarily organized by women in the family to fun chitchats with the girl gang, we see a lot of intimate family moments in the film.
