These regulations or investments are expensive and give little payback and we may never know if they actually worked. How many pandemics have been stopped in the last 30 years by early monitoring systems? How many crashes have been averted by financial regulations? How many people are alive today because of environmental regulations? What about clean water and viable food stocks? And how many humans are decently educated and have high quality lives because of liberal policies, even if they don't become rich or powerful. The balance is letting the market compete, innovate, and destroy one another and the planet while reigning it in when it gets out of control...I can guarantee you by the year 2050, you will wish we'd been more liberal.

These regulations or investments are expensive and give little payback and we may never know if they actually worked. How many pandemics have been stopped in the last 30 years by early monitoring systems? How many crashes have been averted by financial regulations? How many people are alive today because of environmental regulations? What about clean water and viable food stocks? And how many humans are decently educated and have high quality lives because of liberal policies, even if they don't become rich or powerful. The balance is letting the market compete, innovate, and destroy one another and the planet while reigning it in when it gets out of control...I can guarantee you by the year 2050, you will wish we'd been more liberal.

November 30th of 2019. I hope Thomas can realize that he was totally wrong about Donald Trump, I know I did.
He changed his mind on Trump… sort of. He still didn’t like his “personality” but did admit he did many good things as president.

Thomas Sowell is the greatest intellect of modern time
Every time I listen to an excerpt from Thomas Sowell, I wonder why his work isn’t more widely known. He is a very knowledgeable man.
Black conservative libertarian: he is not the kind of minority democrats like.
He doesn’t fit the narrative.
Because knowledgeable people know, & speak truth. Any group wanting control/power prefer to keep the truth hidden.
This administration has been exposed by the knowledgeable, but too many outside factors protect this administration. And the ignorant can't comphrene.
