Ein wahrliches Meisterwerk, welches Dir mit diesem Gong wieder gelungen ist.Danke Martin, dass Du immer wieder bereit bist, deiner inneren Stimme zu folgen.
Beautiful looking and fantastic sounding gong! :-) I wasn't clear at the beginning, was it welded/braised together from two pieces and if so, why? The first gong I ever owned was one of those crummy ones that Ludwig sold after they quit carrying Paiste (Lazer I think was the brand name?) and they all had braised on side pieces and after a few years developed cracks along where the pieces were joined and rattled. :-(
@@Helisepp Ah, awesome! The sound is lovely. I actually just finished my very first gong. I decided to try making a small 46cm out of 16 gauge mild steel, just to practice the techniques without blowing a lot of money if it failed. I'm actually pretty pleased with how it turned out for my first attempt! Your videos were quite helpful during the process:)
