Give credit to LSU for not shying away from competition to start their seasons. Brian Kelly is still a solid coach. LSU lost, but they fought hard, gotta give them that. Paul Finebaum is the bigger issue. His scathing assessment of USC before this game - and how the game turned out - was way off the mark, and he never owned up to being so wrong. Instead of giving credit to USC the way we give credit to LSU for being a challenge and true competitors, he acts like he never said anything pregame at all.
I feel like he set it up for potential to fail saying that he has new players and coaches and he's going to let those coaches do their job. So if it doesn't go well he has an excuse. It doesn't give me much confidence. But geaux Tigers!

Yep. Could have one it all with exactly an average ranked defence. We put up 46 a game. #1 offense in '23.
