Old Friends Quartet it was the project titled Encore. It was around March of 2001 taped Live in Mobile Alabama at the Moblie Civic Center

LOVE THE VOICES AND SONGS........NOW MY THOUGHTS......EVANGELICAL MALES AND THE HAIR DO'S....WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? WIGS, POMPADOURS, PERMS, LONG HAIR. ALWAYS IN THE BACK OF MY MIND I THINK.....THESE FULL TIME SINGERS.....DO THEY SING FOR GOD(HONESTLY) OR THEY LOVE THE SHOWMANSHIP AND APPLAUSE?
Since no one has answered you, let me just say, first, hairstyles changed dramatically over the decades of these videos, from collar length to shoulder length with sideburns and yes, pompadours on top. So what? The music has remained the same. The only wig in this vid is on Jake Hess, and he was known for his wigs, but it didn't affect his singing for the Lord. He was as bald as a peanut since he was young. He still made a mark for being one of the most Godly musicians ever to grace SGM with one of the finest voices ever recorded, or live, for that matter. He was devoted to serving the Lord. Others that have worn hairpieces also managed to serve God while indulging a little vanity. Maybe it would be a better use of your time to pray for the effectiveness of these ministries, rather than to fret and complain about the personal choices and habit's of the singers? God Bless them, and God Bless you, I think you need a big dose of blessing to sweeten you up, maybe.

Heaven will be a lonely place when no one is saved but you, and the ones you judge fit. Speaking of pride, it would be polite to turn off your caps, since they indicate that you are screaming. I'm sure you don't mean to do that. I pray the Lord's love will pour out on you and soften your heart toward others. You are talking about some of the most Godly people in the country, all doing their best to serve Him and take the word to those who would not otherwise hear it. These are very real and dedicated Christian men and women, not in the business for glory, but for service to the Lord. A gospel singer doesn't make a lot of money, and gives up a lot to be on the road. They leave families behind when they travel, in most cases. They don't do it for the attention. I wonder if you perm your hair, or curl it attractively, do you dress fashionably modest, or try in any way to make yourself presentable? That's all these people are doing In most cases. You will never make me believe in Christ by your criticism of others, do you realize that?
